Oil Painting - "The Eye of the Star" (ENG/SPA)
The story of this painting starts with the quote of Friedrich Nietzche: "As long as you still experience the stars as something 'above you', you lack the eye of knowledge."
With this premise in mind, the journey of painting started. I started painting it in the kitchen. It was fun and lovely.
I have been working on this painting for a long while and at some point it was exhibited at the University of Zagreb, where I had my solo exhibition. Although unfinished, the painting was hanged.
During the exhibition, I took it back into the studio and worked more on it. One late night, around 2 am the painting was done.
No longer were the stars something above, they became a part of me, or maybe I became a part of them. Anyhow, we had fun. 😃

La historia de esta pintura comienza con la cita de Friedrich Nietzche: "Mientras sigas experimentando las estrellas como algo 'sobre ti', te faltará el ojo del conocimiento."
Con esta premisa en mente, comenzó el camino de la pintura. Empecé a pintarlo en la cocina. Fue divertido y encantador.
He estado trabajando en esta pintura durante mucho tiempo y en algún momento se exhibió en la Universidad de Zagreb, donde tuve mi exposición individual. Aunque sin terminar, la pintura fue colgada.
Durante la exposición, lo llevé al estudio y trabajé más en él. Una tarde en la noche, alrededor de las 2 am, se terminó la pintura.
Las estrellas ya no eran algo de arriba, se convirtieron en parte de mí, o tal vez yo me convertí en parte de ellas. De todos modos, nos divertimos. 😃
