What a gift it would be... Part 6
Day-6 of me doing the Christmas silver wish list thingie initiative, first started by @silverd510. As a quick reminder, the goal is to post for 12 consecutive days, 12 silver pieces that I would love to be gifted for Christmas.
Well, normally it would be day 7 but I took a break from posting yesterday to enjoy some personal time 😂
Moving on...
So far we have seen some really epic silver pieces that all fall under the "coin" category.
Today's piece is a bit different though. It's silver but it's definitely not a coin. Actually.. I think it technically is a coin since it does have a denomination of 100 $.
And it's big. 1 fucking kilo big. That's 35.274 ounces.
And if you are a fan of star wars you definitely gonna love it!

Today's spot is about 730 per kilo so that's about ten times the spot ! I guess the niche for this piece is really targetted. Rich star wars fun that love to stuck silver!

Now imagine going to a shop and trying to use it as a regular 100 $ coin. That would be hilarious 😂

I didn't think I would see the death ship. It's been a long time since I saw Star Wars so it is quite nostalgic. It's nice to see that it isn't a coin as it's quite unique.

For a Silver Liver, these gifts are very special and we find that we all get a lot of joy from keeping things like this.
What a beauty, I also googled the other Coins you highlighted in this series, since they are all rather good gifts, even tho my family isnt that much into the good G and S, I really thought about the dolphin one.
This one I felt tempted to get for myself, but I see recommended retail price 3,400 USD and also saw it sold out for 28.000€. That's a little steep for me, unlucky, but I guess Star Wars Fans are crazy + I like this silver death star even though I am not huge on Star Wars.
I believe 3400 was the starting price. With a mintage of just 300 it probably run out so I think a 2x is a "fair" price to ask
nah, with Star Wars being Star Wars, I think that that's dirt cheap. Im normally more of stacker than a collector, but from a Collectors point of view this seems like a slam dunk, if it would not be my whole life savings (or maybe half of it but still), I would hang this one in my living room. Whats the point of collecting if you dont show off right? ;D
