My Leo Goals for 2023
I was kindly asked to participate in this new initiative by the leofinance team. Here's a link to learn more.
The tldr is as following
Here's how this Leo Finance contest will work:
Set a Leo Power goal for 2023.
Set smaller monthly goals. Take into account post rewards, LPUDs, curation and market buys.
Create a strategy to achieve your monthly goals.
Have rainy season strategy and have answers to possible setbacks and obstacles.
Have a list of to-do things that will help you achieve your short term goals - post 10 times a month, not allow your LeoPower to reach 100%, buy X $leo for LPUD every month, use HBD rewards to grow your stack, and things like that.
My answer is gonna be a bit different. It's no secret I was quite disappointed with the route Leo took the last two years. But I am happy to see khal has decided to go back to the basics, and most importantly we have been promised Leo ad buy backs will make a return, supposedly before the end of this year!
Bag wise, I have more Leo then I ever imagined, mostly thanks to buying a good chunk during the ultimate bottom when shit hit the fan during the hive/steem fork. So, I will keep staking my curation rewards on my curation account, like I always did for like..dunno... 3ish years now?
If khal stays true to his words though and ad market buys return, I will start promoting Leo hard again on twitter and reddit like I used to do back in the good ol days. Dunno, it just feels nice seeing those ad buy backs and knowing I played a role!
And I will also start buying Leo on the market and keeping it liquid along with my author rewards. I really regret not getting myself a small hive whalehood when Leo was 3-4 hive a piece. Greedy me. I won't make the same mistake if that opportunity arises again!

Thinking along similar lines to you as it has taken 2 years to get to 15K LP thus far. Doubling from here will be a stretch especially if the price rises like it should.
Nice. I remember you shilling leo and bro tokens a couple of years back. I bought leo at 80 cents but it was too late. It came crashing down after we shifted our focus to defi. Looking forward to new updates and the possible uprise.

But now I’m trying hard to stack the Leo, the guy running it is a smart dude.
Great ted talk and I think we all want that the main focus is LEO and ensuring it preserves its value in both bear and bull market times. Thus, strong tokenomy is needed and using ads revenue is one channel to ensure value is captured.

LEO prices are down quite a bit and it's hard to really tell if I should continue working on CUB that much using some of the LEO I earn. It hasn't really been that attractive to me. So I think I might cut back on the Defi adds and move more towards staking more LEO on the blockchain.

Yeah my 2023 goal is to buy or earn 1 lac hbd to upvote nee users of hive. Yesterday i have invest my all money in one project and the project coins almost down 99 percent my investments almost zero. Next year i can not invest this type of project. Thanks for sharing.
Leo goals for 2023, 2024 and 2025: power up the darn things and enjoy the curation rewards. Do this until moon. Next profit. Buy Leo back in the bear. Simple :)
Not long until the end of the year. Let's hope they keep their word.

We all need to be a bit less greedy next year. That's the only goal I care about at least.
