Gold and silver
Typically I use my phone to take my photos but today I had some free time and figured to play with the camera of my wife, a Nikon z6 ii.
It's been a while since I am trying to up my camera game, and we did pay about 2k USD so it only makes sense to start getting the hand of it.
Of course, it's a pro camera so it has a learning curve to get the best out of it. I gave it a try with some of my silver and a gold sovereign I had handy, using the auto settings. This is some of the pics I shot:
Yeah, the results are not what I expected. But to be fair I used only natural light and it was only an hour before it got dark. I am really surprised they came out so bright, definitely brighter then what the human eye could see!
But the focus certainly sucked, I guess I need to do some reading!
I'll keep playing with it and hopefully get better!
In other news, here's some very bullish news I stumbled upon today. Sounds like inflation is a thing of the past!
As long as you don't eat, live in a house, use energy in any form (electricity, gas etc) or want to buy a second hand car you are golden! Lmao. Food is for weaklings after all, fuck that.

The Nikon Z series is amazing! If I wouldn't use Sony Cameras since 2013 I would have got one too.
The Images are awesome! Very sharp love the blurry Background. I assume you got a lense in the 35mm with 1.8 f-stop? Just a wild guess cause the sharp area in the second picture seems like you used a very small f-stop to get this effect :)
Doesn't Petrol have around 10000Kcal per litre? So I dont have to eat or drink for 3 Days. Inflation can' hurt me. Adapt and overcome. lol
It's the 24-70mm kit lens, in auto mode, I just point and shoot. Dunno about the rest f-stop blah, it is still mumbo jumbo for me 😆😆😆
In this Case its a damn good Kit lens lol :D
At some point it will be Mambo Rambo and you will only use Manual Mode :D

Is that a half sovereign or a full sovereign? I can't tell. Regardless, sovereigns are very elegant. It is the design by Benedetto Pistrucci that makes them so pretty!
