Belated LPUD, Leo prizes and some thoughts..
Life's been a bit hectic with the arrival of the new family member, so I totally forgot of powering up some Leo on the 14th of the month for the LPUD day.
Oh well, better late then later 😂
So I powered up about 1100 Leo on my Leo alt today, @trumpman2 and also did my delegations for the winners of my prizes:
- 5k Leo to @newnow497
- 1.5 k Leo to @be-alysha
- 1k Leo to holovision

As always, I will take this LPUD opportunity to mumble incoherently share my current thoughts about Leo.
Let's start with the obvious, price action. From 0.08 hive to almost 0.3 a piece has surprised many but it just shows what slicing inflation to 1/4 and creating some positive sentiment can do to price. The change from paying delegations Leo that come from the market instead of the team fund was simply...huge. Like my penis. Ok, less huge. But still huge.
And now that ad buy backs seem to be imminent, things can get really wild! I wouldn't be surprised to see 1 Leo =1 hive in no time if when ad buy backs go live.

The second thing I'd like to talk is threads. I was never much of a believer as many similar projects on steemit and hive have miserably failed.
But... the team has managed to pull this one very well and they onboarded a good chunk of hive over there! And even most importantly, keep those people engaged. Which is of course amazing news for ad revenue and Leo price. And of course hive price, since it could theoretically help hive engine suck up a lot of hive liquidity from exchanges if number go up!
My only worry about threads is that it could literally break our chain. I am a retard when it comes to technical stuff but I have heard @themarkymark mentioning how it is already quite heavy. Maybe when the time comes our chain overlords witnesses will figure it. Dunno. We will see.
So yeah. After a long long time I feel bullish on Leo once again. What happens, only time will tell. I am in a good position anyhow, but it would be really nice to see it moon. And hopefully, if this happens we won't see one new shitty shiny token after the other.

Every time we hit the chain is sucks up some amount of resources. I would imagine if it 10x we would run into some issues for sure. Seems like all that content doesn't actully need to be on the blockchain and instead could be lighter and the vote counted in some other manner. At least that's how I would have done it on a standalone site. Still it's going pretty decent but the real task will be onboarding people outside of hive.

Yeah , gladly it gets better by the day. I still use peakd to write my posts, and I copy paste them on the Leo editor as an easy fix. 😂

Lessons learned, evolutions implemented, LEO is the new (old) and only frontier in the long-run.

It's a late LPUD but you still powered up so it counts.
As for threads, I think it's amazing and the implementation is good too. They created a contain for threads and they are just reading data off from that.
That's really a huge contribution to your Leo portfolio....powering up 1k plus Leo is going to push Leofinance. Again talking about Leo Ads & Threads is something good diversification Leofinance introduce and is going to help a lot.
Doubt 1k is enough to push but it's a small stone, that's for sure!
