🕷️ Spider Mom, Part 2 🕷️

Some of you may remember that post I made like a month ago about that mother wolf spider carrying her eggshack. Feel free to click here if you missed it for some cool shots.

Well, about ten days ago I think I encountered her again. I am not sure if its the same individual, but it was around the same area of the house. And it seemed like a wolf spider...although I couldn't really tell as her body was covered with hundreds of, if not thousands, tiny little spiders clinging on her for dear life

Just look at these cute little fuckers and their little transparent abdomens. The urge to kill these microscopic spawns from hell was strong but I resisted it with all my might 😅

Looks like something straight from a horror film. Reminded me of the walls the aliens made in Alien 2 😄

My toddler came while I was taking the shots and touched poor momma with his fingers. Like me he loves little critters and loves gently messing with them.

Poor mom got a bit scared and run a few cm away and some of the spiderlings fell off her.

Eventually they managed to return and hopped on to continue the ride.

This was my last decent shot and then I left the momma to enjoy the rest of the night. I haven't seen her since. Hopefully she is doing well.

Anyways, I wish I had taken some better photos but there's only so much I can pull of with my current equipment.

If any of you know of any fancy gadget/lens for taking macro photos with a phone please leave a comment..

I have relocated to a new place full of amazing tiny critters and it would come in handy.

Hopefully those hundreds will help keep mosquitos and other peskier critters at bay. That's one big spider!

It's weird to see... I don't know if I could stand to stare at it but that is a ton of spiders.

Probably, my love for animals is not as strong as yours, because I can’t consider myself a person who would hug a crocodile or a poisonous spider :)
