I know it is cliche but I am much more concerned with who is in Congress than I am who gets the presidency. At most, the President can only effect policy and such for eight years while those in Congress have stayed in office for SEVERAL rotations of President (some have been in Congress longer than most of us have been alive).

And since in a lot of places, whether a Democrat or a Republican is going to win is a foregone conclusion, it is the primary that is more important than the general election.
