Prague Castle(Pražský hrad) and St. Vitus Cathedral, a piece of Prague history
Travel is never about money, it's about courage. - Paulo Coelho
Hello Everyone
It's time for the last post from the Czech capital and we will visit one of the most important tourist and architectural attractions in Prague.
Travelling to the sights of Prague we did by public transport, they work impeccably, so on this new day of exploring Prague we woke up in the morning we went for breakfast (in the last post in Prague I introduced you to the Expo hotel where we had our accommodation) after which we took the tram which dropped us quite close to the castle entrance.
From what I noticed the castle sits on a hill and from the surrounding streets you can see the city from above, don't worry about getting lost, there are many signs with directions to the sights in the city.
If somehow you decide to visit the castle you have to plan your visit very well because here besides the castle there are several other sights that are also worth visiting, if you visit the castle inside you have to pay an entrance ticket and if you visit only the outside and other sights there is no need to pay any ticket.
Having quite a lot of sights planned for the day, we decided to visit the castle only on the outside but to visit another impressive sight, namely St Vitus Cathedral.
But let's see how today's tour started.
Even from the entrance the place starts to look amazing plus I found a map for orientation, the inside of the castle has enough sights to visit, that's why you need a whole day here, so go ahead and explore.
Also here at the entrance we noticed the presence of security, a very good thing because it gives you the feeling of safety, we continue to go to the inner courtyard here we find a lot of tourists, some were entering or leaving from different objectives and others actually sat and enjoyed a mulled wine at the beautifully decorated houses (when we visited the castle was on the eve of the winter holidays in December).
We took a walk around the castle courtyard, visited a souvenir shop, couldn't resist having a glass of mulled wine and a kurtos.
Our eyes were fixed on St. Vitus Cathedral, so our next stop will be there, we didn't know what we will find inside, the outside is amazing, spectacular architecture, impressive details, let's see what it will be like inside.
Yes, the interior is just as spectacular, you really don't know what to look at, I leave you a link where you can find out more valuable information that will surely be useful.
I hope you like this location and why not convince you to visit Prague, you will definitely find a lot to visit here, it is a special country.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.

Amazing place and architecture.
You're right, Prague is amazing, at least it convinced us to come back.
You know, it's funny, but I don't remember if I have ever visited the cathedral. I've been there hundreds of time, but I really don't know if I was inside 😂 I remember that there were always people in long queues waiting to get there, and knowing myself I assume I refused to wait, but I'm really not sure. The point is that I'm glad that you took me with you inside 🙂 even though I still don't remember if I've been there or not.
Great photos! I love Prague, but I don't come to the castle that often anymore as it's too touristy for me..
Thank you for sharing!
When we visited the castle in Prague there were also a lot of tourists who came from everywhere.
We were very lucky when we decided to visit the cathedral because there were not so many tourists, tourists were scattered everywhere.
I don't like very very touristy places either, they are extremely crowded, people are always in a hurry, it creates stress.
Wow, I think I definitely missed something when I was in Prague a few years ago (it was a school trip). The way you take pictures is really great!
Warm greetings from Germany:)
Prague is amazing, glad you like the attached pictures and thank you for the kind words.
Greetings from western Romania!

There we go, you took some very nice shots of our little castle :) (Just kidding, it´s actually the biggest castle complex in the world :D)

I can't find enough words to describe the beauty of the castle and the rest of the sights inside, we were a bit on the run, it took a whole day here.
Thank you so much, my friend.
