Discovering Roman Mythology in the Pantheon of Rome, Italy

Hello dear travellers around the world

Today I want to go together to a charming, vibrant city with amazing architecture and of course a history of centuries.

I'm sure you've guessed it's Rome, Italy.

When we think of Rome we think of history and that perfect architecture, honestly very often we touch the walls of the various sights with our fingers just to feel even more the connection with their history.

I came to the conclusion that Rome must be discovered on foot, I know this city is huge and you will have to use public transport, but still don't forget to take a few steps, here you will definitely fall in love with the city.

After having breakfast at the hotel, we quickly boarded a bus (the bus stop is very close to the hotel) which took us relatively close to the place we will visit today.

Today we will go to Piazza della Rotonda where we will step into one of the most visited sights in Europe, the Pantheon.

But by the time we got to the Pantheon we enjoyed the narrow cobbled streets with cubic stone, some of them full of tourists and at the same time we admired the small chic terraces that attracted you like a magnet.

Don't worry the Pantheon will be easy to find just follow the crowd.

From research I did on the internet I found out that there is no entrance fee, but when I got to the site I was surprised to find out that entrance is by ticket only, I asked a person I saw scanning tickets for tourists where I could buy tickets from and she pointed me to a vending machine in front of the Pantheon, but I had to figure it out because there were quite a few people queuing there.

The entrance ticket for one person cost 5 euros.

Let's discover the Pantheon inside to see if it really deserves the title of the most beautiful monument in Europe.

From what I've read here, there's a round hole at the top of the dome and here, when it rains, water seeps in and the floor is made in such a way that all the water that falls on the floor drains through special places that you can barely notice.

Let's explore a little the outside of the Pantheon, honestly after seeing the inside I wonder what else can amaze me on the outside.

After we finished exploring this place, we got a little hungry and chose to eat something traditional, but don't think about pizza.

I did an exam all about the pantheon when I studied history of art, but I haven't seen it yet and as an Italian it's si shama.
