Can I still have privacy in the digital age?

I can sum up everything I've learned about life in two words: keep going. (Robert Frost)

When I looked over this weekend's engagements the first one that jumped out at me was the one about our secrets and clearly I decided to develop the idea from there and then I read them all, but I still found the first one I saw very interesting, I was coming up with idea after idea and a question stuck in my mind, can we still have privacy in this digital age?

In this situation I have to choose between allowing someone to read my secret diary, to go through my personal phone or to check my browser history on my computer, looking at each situation I'm not comfortable with either of them but if I had to choose one of them it would be to have someone check my browser history on my computer, yes, I would choose that one.

When we think about personal data we have to take into account a certain level of security (safety) to be able to reach them and here I mean not only the data held on a computer but all types of information, which by disclosing or making them public could bring me certain inconveniences in relations with third parties or in work relations that would not be in my interest.

Let me write a few words about each of them to justify my choice, namely in my Secret Diary I write every day my thoughts, feelings, my intimate experiences in my relationships with those around me, but also some of my future projects, a lot of information that I did not want to make public, here in this diary I have to be honest to write everything I think without pretending and if someone had access to this data I could put myself in a delicate situation with the world around me, because not always what I think could be to the liking of those around me whether we talk about family, whether we talk about colleagues at work, whether we talk about friends or neighbors.

Now let's bring up the mobile phone, this device should be a personal one, yes, I know, some of us also have a work mobile phone, which in some cases is perfectly normal, but when we talk about the personal mobile phone here the problem changes, I don't think it would be comfortable for anyone to have access to the information on it and especially the photo gallery.

In addition to all the notes you write on your phone (here I mean including summaries of sessions, plans to achieve a certain goal, personal development stuff, this I tell you from personal experience) we are used to taking a lot of photos that we later group into categories (date they were taken, where they were taken, the occasion they were taken, again I'm telling you from personal experience) Frankly, I don't feel comfortable having someone go through my files with these photos, but I feel like they are forcing their way into my privacy, which is why my cell phone has multiple layers of security so I can access the content by fingerprint scan.

Finally, let me write a few words about my option at the beginning of the post, namely if someone were to check my browser history on my computer, and I'm not comfortable with this option, but compared to the other two, it's where someone might not find out too much personal data.

My browser history wouldn't reveal too much of my private life, but it would mostly show my online searches and activities, it would actually show what I do every day, which on the one hand could be to my advantage (if it were my work computer), if my boss had someone check my browser history and saw that my concerns lately were entirely work-related, it would matter a lot to my image in that company.

Dear readers, you could read above strictly my personal opinion about some situations that concern each of us, in this case it is very important to be aware of the danger and unpleasant situations that can arise if we do not secure our personal data very well.

If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.

P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone, and the text is also designed by me.

Yours @triplug!
