Sorting Out Unemployment
Unemployment is one sickness that has been raging on especially in my very own country Nigeria, because of the unemployment rate, so many youths has resulted to one crime activity or the other, they have now seen this crime as a normal thing. This has led to an increase in criminal activities such as robbery, drug trafficking, and other illegal activities. It has also caused a strain on the resources of the government and has had a negative impact on the country's economy. The government needs to take action to address this issue and create more job opportunities for the youth. This is because if it continues like this, many things will surely continue going wrong.
The issue here is that the government of our country does not value youths even though they say we are the leaders of tomorrow, that's is for our own pocket, it doesn't concern them. If this was to be a country that values its youth, better opportunities are supposed to be created for us, things like intern jobs after graduating university instead of sitting at home or starting the progress of job hunting, they us supposed to be available jobs ready for youths even if it's for about 80% of graduates. If this were in place they would be low crime rate.
I once attended a skill acquisition program , it was organised by the local government of that area, the program was supposed to be free and that was why I attended in the first place but after two weeks of practical and teachings they stated diverting the teaching and started asking us to bring money for so many things, because if this , many who were interested in the program withdrew and didn't bother coming back, I did stay for about a year, I wasn't able to go to the end because I couldn't meet up with all the money that was been demanded of us.
If the government says something is free, let it be, so it can help the people involved. I think avenues should be set up to meet up with the targets of the unemployed youth in the country.
More entrepreneurs should create business ideas and by that youths have jobs, because this will do well to curb unemployment rates and even crime rates. This will also lead to economic growth and development, as more people become productive members of society. Furthermore, a better-educated and employed youth can contribute to a more stable and secure society.
Additionally, young people should be creative in any way they can, such as by starting their own businesses or finding real-life solutions to current problems. This can help create more opportunities and economic growth, which is essential for long-term sustainability. Investing in youth education and employment is an investment in our society's future.
I believe with this done graduates will not become job seekers or result to crimes, also there will be peace of mind for everyone in the nation when things are in moderate.

Unemployment is indeed one of the problem in most countries and ours is not an exemption.
God help us eradicate this problem, cause it is indeed a problem.
There was a time that people dubbed Nigeria as the email scam capital of the world. No offense intended.
I think the high unemployment have "forced" people to find ways to earn money in any means. I supposed this also brought them to the other side of the law, so to speak.
Nevertheless, I have come to know some Nigerians online, particularly here in Hive and ReadCash, who are talented and hardworking and are earning honest money.
Anyway, the Internet these days offers a lot of ways to earn honest income. As you have written, one just need to be creative. And of course patience and persistence is a must.

The unemployment problem is the problem of others problem and it will increase with time if the situation goes worse. I think government should need to take a bold step toward it but the government is not doing any kind of thing.
If only they can do something to this it will go a long way and even be very okay for the econmy
Unemployment is a major problem in some countries, even those in the private sector enslave their employee which is very bad
Sometimes the people that are put in charge of the whole program are those who come up with the idea to take money from these attending. This is know to be common in Africa. People in higher authority always try to take advantage of every situation which is very bad.

Indeed. Unemployment is rife, globally. Those if us living in 3rd world countries, as per usual, are most deeply affected. I've just been retrenched and while I'm doing my best to make use of the resources available to me, it's frighteningly apparent how little support there is from our government for people in a similar situation to me. It's hard to stay motivated.
It's really sad as the government are not really doing well to help the youths, it's saddening, we can only pray for a good change
Or the elderly or the disabled. It's like slavery dressed up as democracy and a free market economy. If you're disadvantaged in anyway, you get classed as subhuman and thrown to the trash. 😔 It's hard to not be angry.

Hi, the courses from my skills acquisition? I did catering and hotel management. It was mostly practical stuff we were taught but I can still do so.
