Hard work and Talent should work hand in hand

For the first prompt this week, we're talking about talent and/or hardwork, and it goes;

To be successful in any field, we must have one or the other. In your current line of work which one do you have going for you? Is it talent or hard work? And how have you been finding it so far? Please share your story with us

All my life I've been told hardwork takes you a very long way and it's true, it does. I know a couple of people who have worked very hard and have achieved so much. I'm not saying having a talent is nice, very nice but I don't feel it is enough nowadays. I know there are a lot of people who have used pure talent to make a difference in the world but like my mother always said;

"All fingers are not the same", which ultimately translates to people have different paths so I think we need to apply hard work to everything we do.
My current line of work doesn't involve really involve talent, I work in a syringe factory. More like worked, I took a leave of absence because of school but nevertheless, it involved hard work because not much skill or hard work was required.

My job mostly involved packaging and shipping and didn't require much skill and talent but work, plenty work. This isn't my dream work or where I'd want to end up, it still doesn't mean I shouldn't put effort in it. In fact, I believe we need to put effort wherever we find ourselves.

TALENT OR HARDWORK: Which do I think is better?

I don't think one is better than the other. I feel like they work hand in hand. You can be talented and still work hard. You tend to go farther when you add hard with talents and I always make reference to Cristiano Ronaldo, man put so much hard work into his career and we all know where that has gotten him.

I wish I had the talent I wanted, God knows I won't take it for granted. I say this because I know a lot of people who do not know the value of what they have. I know we can't control the future but at least we can plan towards it and my plans need me to work hard and smart.

I have said this from the start, I do not think talent is enough, I think we need to work hard to achieve everything we want.

For now, what's going for me is hard work and maybe I might venture into a field where my talents are useful but its just hard work for me now. If you're out there hustling and working hard, I pray for you that everything you do isn't in vain.

I agree, talent and hardwork share a symbiotic relationship, it is not possible for an individual to show his/talent without working hard.

Both concept have cause and effect reaction on each other but I do believe talent is good but I have seen a lot of individuals attain success without talent but by hardwork because talent can be learnt.

Thanks for sharing.

This is beautiful lol, I agree with you perfectly that in this our country, hardwork pays more than talent and for those that makes it by talent I am sure they added hardwork to it because talent will die with hardwork bro...

Indeed shipping is more of hardwork than talent and that is the fact but your conclusion has said it all, talents and hardwork are efficiently utilized when being paired together....
Thank you for this beautiful post 💲💥💥

This is literally the basic understanding we should have for us to go farther than we think and become a source where others will see the essence of hard work.

Most times the situation we find ourselves isn't where we plan to be, but we just have to make being there worth it by working hard.

Let's keep hustling. Hard work pays.
