Wyndham Bangkok Queen Convention Centre Apartment

Hi Everyone,

For our stay in Bangkok, we have decided to rent a serviced apartment to get more room for everyone and still have the excellent facilities a typical hotel will give you. We have chosen the Wyndham Bangkok Queen Convention Centre. It is not right in the city but not too far so it will be less busy, especially in the evening. Our apartment is a two-bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a washing machine included. A washing machine is needed as Bangkok is very humid, we change our clothes twice a day plus our swimming gear so having this in the apartment comes in handy.

Our room gets cleaned daily with a change of new towels so it's like an actual hotel. There is a nice rooftop pool, restaurant, massage, and gym all in the same building. The apartment was average size but big for Thailand standards and is pretty new. Our master bedroom even had a nice reading/resting nook overlooking the convention center and it was great for Hubby who was working or just us chilling when the kids are outside watching tv.

The apartment is close to a metro but we haven't used it as catching a Grab is much more convenient for the 4 of us. Sometimes we go separate ways as the boys wanted to do boy things while I catch up with friends and go on other adventures. I would recommend this accommodation provided the price isn't too high. We booked a month ahead and it was pretty reasonably priced for what we got. It is a bit out of the way to the main area like in Siam but it is a lot quieter and it isn't too far to travel to these main hubs if needed. The only thing to improve was the check-in staff who was fully asleep when we arrived at midnight, knowing well we were coming as our info was on the desk but he needed 2 other security to wake up him to get us to our apartment. Pretty hilarious. Other than this staff, everyone was friendly and helpful.
