Sense Cera Siamese Spa - Bangkok, Thailand
Hi Everyone,
When you go to Thailand, you can't go home without at least a massage. I'm a fan of massages so I will try to find any opportunity to squeeze one in even on this trip. This is the first time we've been to Thailand with the kids so we weren't sure if this can be done and surprisingly, it is very easy as both Hubby and I will just need to book a couple room and the boys can stay with us. We first tried Sense Cera Siamese Spa which is inside our serviced apartment. We walked in hoping they had a free room and to our surprise, they do as we wanted something before dinner. There were lots of massage choices and we chose the special deal of 1500 baht (from memory) per person for an oil massage + body scrub. Hubby didn't want a scrub so he chose another one which they accommodated without extra charge.
Before we were shown to our room, the attendant gave us a range of oils to choose from, each with a different scent. This was very well presented and tbh, all of them smell really nice. We were shown to our lovely room and the kids even had a corner to themselves so they can entertain themselves on the iPads. Our room was beautifully decorated and after we got changed, we were being pampered for over 2 hours. The room also had a bathroom which catered for my body scrub and I have to say the water pressure was pretty good.
After our massage, we were given some hot tea and sweets. The kids ate them all up as they were hungry waiting for us but again, it was very nicely presented and was delicious. From experience, the masseuse really makes a difference in your overall experience. My one was actually pretty good but unfortunately, Hubby's one wasn't great so he said even though this spa was very convenient right inside our apartment, he wouldn't go back again. Price wise, it was on the higher end even though we chose the special deal. We did end up going to other ones over the trip and had a more enjoyable experience.

Wow! thank for sharing your trip to Thailand with us, I guess you thoroughly enjoyed your trip well I can guess from the content. Well, I think it's superb to have a family trip which always ends up memorable, I think going to a spa is really a great idea and it was fantastic for our body thou it might be cost depending on your choice. I guess your husband sees it as a waste of money. As a family man, he has numerous things to settle, but I guess his made the right choice to allow you to go for what you want and make the family happy.
Lucky we go back to the ones we used to go and the massages were alot better :)
