Food Sharing #281 - Grilled Korean BBQ 2 @ Ryde, Australia

Hi Everyone,

Every Sunday, our kids will go for their swimming lessons and every time we have lunch afterward, they would eat so much as they would have exercised a lot during that swimming lesson. We decided to meet up with a friend this weekend after their lesson and go and check out a new Korean restaurant they found which has some decent dishes. The location of the restaurant is at Ryde so it was still a bit of a drive but I guess it's not too bad to check out a potential excellent Korean BBQ without going to Strathfield or the city.

Let’s have a look at the menu. We ordered a variety of meat, steamed egg, 2 serves of potato noodles, seafood pancake & 2 serves of wagyu rare beef. There are lots of sides to go with the meal so we all look forward to the meal to come. The friend said the serving was pretty big so we didn’t want to over-order and the person taking our order also thinks there is plenty of food.

The side dishes came first. Lots of choices but I do find that the ones at Strathfield as more variety. Although the choices were not as good, it is still heaps better than restaurants around where we live. My kids loved the fish cake side dishes so that kept them quiet until the main food came.

First came the steamed egg and the meat. The kids started digging into the steam egg but my friend’s kids doesn’t like it so my little ones ended up finishing most of it. Lots of meat to go around the cuts weren’t bad. Although it wasn’t cheap, it was a nice portion for the price we paid. Dipping sauce was also provided so that made this extra tasty.

The rest of the food slowly arrived including the noodles, raw beef and pancake which I forgot to take a picture of as everyone was already digging right into it. All dish servings were very generous so everyone really enjoyed the lunch. We ended up finishing everything and we were super full. Service was a bit slow as they were a bit busy over lunch but overall we were very happy with the food. It was a great find from our friend. Parking was free outside or around the side streets so it's pretty convenient. We will be sure to come here again if we want to have a good Korean meal.

Wow che spettacolo deve essere stato tutto buonissimo, peccato che qui in Italia non ci sono questi ristoranti.
Buona giornata

Attractive place in a good area. Korean food is very popular. The steamed egg looks soft so yummy dear, definitely a great choice for kids. Well, I used to try some Korean BBQ in my city too. We ordered grilled pork ribs and teriyaki mackerel with seafood fried rice and dessert. The main dishes were good.

Wow.. the food is so much, and all the food looks very delicious. On weekends like this it is the most suitable to eat with family in a restaurant like that. @travelgirld 😁

That food looks so good! But it is also pricey!

Unfortunately, that's the kind of thing I can only see in pictures and anime.
