Food Sharing #278 - Bambuu @ Randwick, Australia

Randwick is a place we used to go quite often when I was in uni. It’s been many years since I’ve been to Randwick and we were in the area last week so thought to grab a quick lunch at Bambuu. We found this place online as it had some good reviews so we thought to give it a go. It was a very casual Vietnamese restaurant, we didn’t need anything fancy, something quick and nice as we had very limited time.

The lunch menu was pretty simple. It’s winter here in Sydney so I ordered a beef pho, hubby ordered a Bánh mì (Vietnamese roll), Vietnamese milk tea, coconut water, and a spring roll which came with a set and some crumbed prawns. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the spring roll and milk tea as hubby was already munching on it while I was getting the utensils ready.

The food overall was nice in particular the pho but the rest was average. The drinks in my opinion were very overpriced and it was pretty watered down with lots of ice. There was no service at the restaurant as you need to order and pick up your food from the front but the seating inside was comfortable. I think if you really want pho, this would be a great place to stop by but wouldn’t recommend the other food and drinks from the menu as there are better options along the main strip of Randwick.
