Hi, travelers and photo lovers!

You are kindly invited to take part in TRAVEL CONTEST's theme today "Flower Beauty" :)

Feel free to interpret the theme in every way you like, hopefully more people will be inspired, motivated and challenged to join this contest round!

  1. One entry per person.
  2. To enter, upload your photo(s) and text into the comment section below. There's no need to create a separate post.
  3. In order to be considered, an entry should consist of at least one photo and your personal story/info/memory.
  4. All the photos you use to enter the contest must be your own and taken by yourself.
  5. All the text you enter must be written by yourself in English.
  6. Deadline: One week starting from the datetime of the contest announcement.
  7. No NSFW content.

Prizes:

  • One Winner will be set as 40% beneficiary of the post including the winners announcement.
  • One Honorable Mention will be set as 10% beneficiary of the post including the winners announcement.
  • All winning and mentioned accounts will be followed, periodically reviewed and their best works upvoted.

It seems the "Joys of Life" theme was hard to interpret so this round there are no winners and mentioned.

I saw this tree (not sure the type/species) in bloom in Rotterdam last spring.

I don't think so. It was several month ago now so I can't entirely remember but I don't recall smelling anything in particular. It was a tree too so the flowers were above my head. I think it would have been subtle (like a rose) if there was a smell.

I was once walking in a park of a city, when I saw this beautiful tree with such a striking color. Then suddenly, along with its flowers, I noticed something else - a large snake had settled on one of its branches. Judas tree with a snake... kind of symbolical, isn't it? 😀
That was, I guess, one of the first times I saw this type of tree.
That one here is another, but again in the same city - a warm South city of Bulgaria, called Dimitrovgrad and was photographed this spring:

A year ago, waiting for my medical consultation, I saw this beautiful flowering bush where I could appreciate part of the sunrise, right there you can see the glare of the sun on the left side, beautifying and highlighting the color of the flower petals. I took several shots to capture that sweet essence that nature gives us. I hope you like it.
