# Hey Look Another Trash Season - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 5 Report Card

One of the best things I've done recently is get a bot set up so I don't have to waste my time playing ranked battles to earn shit rewards anymore. It really sucks getting hype for EOS only to get 40% of the expected value for 70+ chests. Rewards 2.0 (or whatever version of 2.0 we're on) officially suck.

The worst part of ranked battles....

A few days into the season and I'm stuck at the top of my league battling the same people over and over for little to no gain in rating and then one loss sends me back like 40 points. Never mind the 25 battles I just won that gave me a grand total of +2 rating points or the ECR I burned to earn it. Getting "rewarded" with trash DEC rewards and trash chest rewards is just icing on the cake.

This was a trash season for Tournaments. We've been having problems with Draws and Flees since April and they still can't figure it out. In the meantime, people are renting for tournaments and getting screwed. All those cards did me really well with 12 draws and who knows how many flees in one day. There's nothing quite like entering a team and surrendering all at the same time.. for every battle in a tournament.

I really only play tournaments anymore (when they work) and I've stopped renting since the whole 2 day minimum rule was started. Seems like every time I rent, it just causes problems with tournaments so I'm not trying to waste any more DEC than I have to.

Sucks not having the airdrop anymore but I'm still glad it's over. I feel like it was doing a lot more harm than good.

The only reason I still play is tournaments and with those being such a heaping pile lately, it's just pushing that much closer to the door.

It's unfortunate because I used to really enjoy the game. The past 3-4 months though have been extremely disappointing. Really wish they'd focus more on fixing the game instead of Splinterfest or some football/soccer game, but I just don't see it happening.
