Memoir Monday #48 Three pleasures in life that make me happy

My greetings to all the members of the @silverbloggers community and in a special way to @ericvancewalton who every Monday invites us to an initiative that discovers us, feeds our soul and, many times, brings us back to that space that allows us to express the best of us or, at least, to try to do it.

Today's theme is particularly special because it prompts us to talk about pleasures we have that bring us happiness. And, I think, for those of us who inhabit this community, we are people who love this initiative because for sure, many happy memories are brought to our minds.

Before saying which are three of the pleasures that cause me happiness I must say that, for me, these pleasures must meet these conditions: provide welfare to others, do it in a systematic way and provide me with knowledge.

Based on the above, here are three pleasures that make me very happy

I. Celebrate birthdays of family, friends and co-workers

In 2016 I wrote this to a friend: Turning one year old is the perfect evidence of the passion with which we were conceived, when we celebrate another year of life we are celebrating the love, kindness, affection and pleasure that our parents felt and decided to turn into life.

Every 12 months we celebrate and remember that we are the result of those feelings and that as a result we decided to give life to life, with another being called child, who will repeat that scene and perpetuate it forever, as a reliable extension of love.
So enjoy this day as much as you can; enjoy; dance; laugh, because in doing so our parents will know that their work is perfect and that it will be continued by our children, grandchildren.....

For such reasons we cannot see this day as the sum of years, but as the sum of love and life.

That is why I see every birthday as an act of love and whenever I can I celebrate it, I try to congratulate my colleagues as early as possible and to my co-workers that I manage I give them the day as a gift to celebrate it with their families.

II. Reading and teaching

This is one of the things that has given me the most pleasure in life and through which I have been able to learn and teach the most because, beyond the classics of world literature that I have been able to read, there are also the books that I have had to consult in order to teach for more than 30 years.

In books there is a wealth of knowledge and learning and they have allowed me to travel to beautiful places, be a hero in adventures, conquer a princess or enjoy nature.

III. Playing with children.

This is one of my greatest pleasures. It must be that the fact of not having children awakened that love for children and, I must say that they love me very much and I can play with them without any problem.

In children I have found that pure, sincere, innocent love and, on more than one occasion they have been my guardian angels and saviors.

Many are the children I have met throughout my life and to be loved by them is one of the most precious treasures and pleasures in life.

A final comment

You may think they are simple pleasures and, it is true, but they are the ones I enjoy the most because, the simpler they are, the more pleasure and happiness they cause.
