Between friends, a scientific event and a cup of coffee

It has become customary that in the scientific events and workshops that we develop there is a special guest, that one that raises spirits, drives us to action and gives us her life and aroma: A COFFEE CUP.

On this occasion we developed the semi-final stage of one of the research projects developed by the Knowledge Management Department of the Institute of Geology and Paleontology, which is also the Geological Survey of Cuba.

In spite of having the possibility of ordering a breakfast we always decide to have a sweet, some cookies with a cup of coffee, for us it is more economical, but, more comforting.

On this occasion we arrived at the Hotel Comodoro, which has become one of the places where we hold our scientific events, especially because of the services provided, the quality of its facilities, the service they offer and the quality of the coffee they prepare.

On this occasion we decided to have an espresso coffee that was accompanied by an exquisite sweet and a sweet biscuit.

One of the things I must highlight is the cleanliness of the cafeteria, the simplicity of its decoration, which makes it even more beautiful.

I like to arrive early, to check that everything is in order, although I enjoy seeing all the coffee cups that will be used, the type of coffee that will be offered, the sweet accompaniment and everything related to the subsequent process when the service is provided to the clients that are us and the expressions of gratitude on our faces.

The event was attended by the main directors of the institute, almost all of them women, and the researchers of our management.

After enjoying the coffee and sweets we were amazed again and, on this occasion we were served by a very young, but very professional staff. The quality of the offer and the service provided were first class and this made us assume that the event would be a success, as it was.

As we left the place we thanked and thanked them for all the service provided and for their excellence.
