Visual Shots Contest | Animals
I'm sexy, and I know it.
I guess it was what the rooster was thinking of himself. But, believe it or not, this rooster is not a regular rooster because it was a fighting rooster worth a thousand USD.
They train him to become the winner for the cockfighting tournament. More money is being spent on his training, food, and medicine. There is only one thing that he needs to do: win the fight, no matter what skill he uses during the fight.
For some people, cockfighting was animal cruelty, but it has a long history dating back more than a hundred years, especially in ASEAN. Some believe it was a religious event, and it was a sacred fight where the winner deserves a reward for winning the fight (that was how it was done a long time ago). But, as I see it today, it's only a hobby and another way for them to get fast money.
Personally, I never agree with it because it looks cruel to see their rooster being trained just to die in the tournament. But, as I learned, there was no one more respectable and willing to give their rooster 200% responsibility than them. I can conclude that they actually deserve to be respected accordingly.
THE FIGTHER
I took this photo when I was on our photo hunting journey at Kundasang with @ikankaruk88, @bluekinabalu, and @gideongys. The owner was an Indonesian who worked as a farmer at those places. According to him, he has spent a thousand dollars just to give them the best treatment.
He also never forgets to do his daily training for them so they can grow strong enough to win any tournament ahead. Trust me , they spend thousang dollar just to bet on their chicken.
Here is some photo that was captured at that time:
Handsome sexy eyes :
Peak-a-boo !! Another different chicken that being put insde their cage :

I like your photos, the roosters have a good demeanor, I once had a rooster but not for fighting. I do not support cockfighting.
Same here . My father actually have it but not for cockfighting
Jeje me genera bastante gracias el diálogo del gallo 😂😂 creo que aplica por completo a esas tomas que están geniales.
muchas gracias . Me alegra que te guste :).
The roosters are gallant, like the one you bring in the photo of your participation, that's why the model pose. They are more enjoyable this way and not wounded or cruelly killed. Thanks for this post with nice pictures and interesting information.
Speaking of sexy roosters, your post made me remember one I presented here in Hive in 2021, here it is 🤭

A hug 🐓
My grandfather was a postator of rooster games, my mother tells me that when she was a child she used to see her father (my grandfather) give the best fruits to the rooster and apply garlic and file his claws, the rooster ate better than my mother.
I do not like any sport that involves violence in animals or humans.
Good post very thoughtful and that animal is beautiful. @tommyl33
I liked the pictures a lot, the story not so much, I say that because of the cockfighting. In my country they are forbidden, although there are places where they are done illegally, but I totally disagree.
Very handsome rooster, I agree with you!
