Seganing Waterfall at Nusa Penida Island // Tear from heaven

THE TEAR FROM HEAVEN

In my previous post , i have talk about Kelingkingan Beach . It was a beautiful place to go but i didnt manage go down to really enjoy the beach. The real reason that i didnt go down at that time because i really want to visit Seganing Waterfall , or they call it tear from heaven. The local say , if you go there and drink from the waterfall , it ll give you forever youth and cleanse you body from any bad illness.

At first i thought , the waterfall is so high . But when i reach this place , you need to go down below the cliff to reach the waterfall. Those cliff is not regular cliff , it was so high and steep . There is no proper stair but only the natural roack and bamboo for you to hold while going down or climbing up. It was 100% dangerous, one false step you can end up fall down and get the critical injured. There is no safety percussion , but because the love of nature and the legend people willing to go down. There is no entrance fee , because it just a regular waterfall where everyone can go.

It's take me around 20 minutes to go down. I almost slipped because i didnt use any shoe to go down. Lucky i stil reach down there safety .

The holy water tirta , or the local call it "Air suci tirta" is what they call the water from the waterfall. Well, as you can see , its not a big waterfall . For me , its just look like the water spring. I meet this old man taking a lot bottle to fill the water inside. Imagine going down and up by bringing the bottles of water with that age , its not an easy job to do. The dangerous walkway is one deathly way. But , he say it was for her wife. This remind me how love can make you move the mountain. The love give him the power and willingness to go down everyday for her wife is a beautiful story of love at this Seganing Waterfall.

I talk with him a couple minutes but then we rush to climb the cliff because its start to raining. Suddenly i start raining heavily and its makes me super impossible to climb the cliff because i only use slippery slippers. Its take me about 1 hours to go up slowly because of the rain. I feel lucky i made it to the top again.
