J WALK SYSTEM IN JURONG EAST

How are you? I hope you have an awesome day today that is better than yesterday.

A DAY'S HOLIDAY OF VESAK DAY

It was a school holiday today for VESAK DAY. I was actually just learning that Vesak Day was also known as Buddha Day, where this is a traditional holiday celebrated by Buddhists in South Asia and Southeast Asia. From what I know, this is not a national celebration for my country in Malaysia (I might be mistaken).

Well, I knew this fact after a friend of mine who came from Vietnam told me that he was going to the temple to celebrate this celebration. I wish I knew earlier so I could come along to see the temple where he came and pray for the Buddha.

WENT TO JURONG EAST MRT

Because I felt bored on this day, I went to the end station of the red line MRT at JURONG EAST, which was about 16 stations from my place. It takes about 35 minutes to reach there, and unfortunately, it was raining.

The best part about JURONG EAST is that it has a 1st floor pedestrian walk called J-WALK around the city. You can easily go from one building to another using this walking system. I wonder how advanced the city development mindset is to think like this.

This is the ciy map which the J WALK for pedestrian cover. As you can see , it cover at most important building in JURONG EAST. I was sad not to take the photo because it was raining heavily at that times. Like i say , this was a great idea because it can increase the safety for the padestrian.

I want to give credit to the city planner and Singapore to make this idea reality,like you see from the photo above it was super clean which was another 1 point for the citizen to taking their part to make this city clean. Like i say in my previous post , Singapore Ciity one of the clean city that i know . It was not just clean but the crime rate was very lows.

I wish my current develop city of my hometown can makes thing like this . Of course we also have the walk system that similar to this J WALK , but unfortunately it not being connected one another. I know they have the same idea but im was ashamed to say that it very hard to make it as reality if there will still corruption as the highest issues that still not being resolve or reduces until now.
