Good morning everyone,

It was Sunday, and as usual, I'll be waking up as early as 3 am to put our laundry at the washing machine and set it for 1 and a half hours of washing it. Then I'll go back and continue sleeping until 6 am. Again, I'll put the laundry out of the machines and hang the clothes to dry them under the sun, and then after I'm done with it, I'll go for the second round, putting my laundry again in the washing machines. That was how much we collected our clothes for the whole week. This is my regular core during the week.

As usual, the weather was very unpredicted in Singapore. It didn't mean rain if the sky was dark or if it was raining; it might end for 10 minutes. But today rain is not stopping from morning until the dark gets darker. So, I have to move the clothes to the clothesline in the house.

THE BREAKFAST?

Since it's raining, I think it was good to make some instant noodles; my favourite one was curry noodles. But my wife thinks of other meals for brunch because I think we already have the noodles almost every day this week. She asked me to go to the nearest market to buy some hot pot ingredients. Well, I can't argue with that, or else I'll be in trouble later. I have to walk about 15 minutes under the rain just to get to the supermarkets because the nearest market didn't have what we needed for the hot pot.

I bought the incredient, which cost us about $24, which was, i think, good because it'll cost at least $50 for each of us to go to hot pot restaurants. It takes me exactly 1 hour to get from the houses and buy the groceries needed for the hot pot, then get back to home again.

When I reach home, the rice has been cooked. Im preparing the soup, which is actually very simple to prepare because I bought ready-made paste and put some salt to get the right taste of that soup. I was actually hoping that we could cook freely here because the tenants only give permission to cook light cooking at the house, and I guess making soup is light cooking.

After done with the soups , we just keep it boil slowly and put the other incredient inside the electric stove . Its look very nice and delicious .

Im putting some lime to get the right sour taste of tom yam .

It was perfect for the brunch and actually for my dinner because we cant finish it during the brunch. The raining effect was actually gives the meal an extra delicious.

Yeps , this is how i spend my day today by doing the weekend cores and make the simple hot pot during the rains. Thanks for stopping by , i hope you enjoy your weekend and have a good rest because tommorow will be another start for new weeks.
