31st August 2023 // Independence Day Parade in town .

It's August 31, 2023, a memorial to Independence Day for Malaysia's declaration in 1957.

Today, I'm deciding to come and watch the Independence Day parade in town. I never joined this activity before because I really hate crowded places. I prefer to enjoy my morning with peaceful coffee while watching live broadcasts on the internet.

The road was very empty because it was so early in the morning.

Taking advantage, I took some architecture photos with no people around.

But , then i start see a lot of people when reach near the destination .

Then, when I reach the area, I can confirm to you that that place was very packed. There was no space for me to get a better photo in front of the parade. I had to walk around the place, which took me around 25 minutes, just to see if I got lucky enough to get through the crowd and get a better place to get a photo.

I kept walking through the crowd and got lucky to find a spot to get some photos—not the best spot but still better than the others spot. This is some photography that was captured during the event. I hope you enjoy yourselves in today's series.

This is among my favourite team for the parade , i think there was a lot more of it but i did miss while looking space for taking photo.

When talking about an independent country, I cant help but keep thinking the country was actually not really independent, especially with the debt from another big world organization. The modern colonization is very different from the previous one. I believe it's not just in my country but with the other country as well.

It's good to continue doing huge events like this, especially for the younger generation, because they are the ones that will lead the country. Their fight might be different from the previous one, but for the country that we love, this must be done.
