Time

Tick-tock, tick-tock goes the clock,
Eyes open, still ticking, never stops.
Will it cease, or will it ever?
If my wall clock halts, does time stop?
Though the clock measures,
Time is never controlled.

Daily, I race, not against the clock,
But against time itself.
Time, indifferent to my plea to slow,
My schedule piles up, and time rushes.

How do I achieve all in due time?
Plan my days against my time.
Youth, once thought forever,
Now wish to be replaced.
Work undone dreams unrealized,
Time measured, never waited for me.

The time I wished would wait,
Not spent in play,
Nor wasted as a fool,
But alas, it escaped.

Time waits for none,
Nature's equal gift to all,
The same 24 hours we share.
Control it, or let others use it,
The choice is yours.

The clock may stop, but time is eternal,
Time's essence; the clock may ask for.
Steal my clock, but my time is mine.

The poem consists of six stanzas of unequal lines with an internal rhyming scheme. It is borne of our desire to be in charge of our time and use it wisely. Everyone will agree that we have the same 24 hours in a day whether rich, privileged or underprivileged; it is the same amount of time. However, the way the time is used is subject to individual personalities. You may allow another person to dictate how you use your time for you as an employee.

In as much, we might want to work to earn a living. We must use our time judiciously by investing it in our personal development. The popular saying goes,' Time is money, remember to use it wisely.' If you don't learn to use your time wisely then you are bound to let others use it for you.

I remember when we were going up, I had a few friends who loved money and were ready to do anything just to earn it. They don't pay attention to personal development. At first, they were able to make a lot of money but they soon lost the money to a frivolous lifestyle as they thought they would keep getting the same amount over and over again. However, they forget to understand the kind of task they do to get those funds only requires physical strength and no skills at all. Many of our friends then were too quick to say that we who were going to school and developing ourselves were just wasting time.

Our time is precious, therefore, you should use it judiciously to achieve better results.

Time the say waits for no one. Time lost can never be regained. More reason we should use our time judiciously.

It is important to manage our time wisely. It doesn't wait a single moment for anybody.

Time does not wait for anything or anyone, it keeps running so we must take advantage of every second we have to the fullest, that's the only thing that does not stop in this life, thanks for sharing ♥
