New things [Poetry]
They have done new things,
Achieved great goals,
Built legacies to last forever.
They pulled the first trigger
And won.
They challenged others
And triumphed.
Even wrong decisions
Led them to success.
In this world, whether good or bad,
New things arise
And endure through time.
As generations come and go,
Each surpasses the last.
They may not pull the trigger
Yet they will win.
They may not challenge others
But they will succeed.
Right or wrong,
Their paths will still
Lead to triumph.
Another generation will follow—
They will neither fight nor strive,
Yet their goals will be met,
And success will find them.
Each generation brings new things,
Yet the next will always do more,
And greater heights will be reached.

I appreciate your vision of a future in which we 'will neither fight nor strive', the way you see this end to conflict as almost an inevitable result of each generation bringing new things and achieving greater heights. Certainly not everyone sees this as inevitable or even positive; many would argue that human nature is inherently violent and that what we've had in the past will be our future. I hope you are right.
Well, we can only proclaim and assume things. There is one thing I'm sure of that there would be a day that our suffering and strive would cease.
I hope that his vision for the future will be fulfilled and that we will not have conflicts and that we will live as brothers. The importance of his poem lies in the fact that if we do not fulfill his future we will be left without him because if we continue as we are today, the world will disappear. Happy day. Cheers and greetings.
Thanks for stopping by. You did hit the nail on its head. Thanks for your input.
