Loneliness (poetry)

It’s time you learn the art of being alone,
For it shapes the soul, carves the bone.
It teaches you strength in solitude’s embrace,
A life unbothered, at your own pace.

A lonely life, a chosen path,
A decision made to escape the wrath
Of clamour, distraction, a noisy tide,
Here, peace and harmony quietly abide.

By trees that whisper, side by side,
With leaves in song, where dreams reside.
The river hums, a fairy’s delight,
A melody of joy in the fading light.

The world, a canvas of creatures vast,
But lived by people whose shadows are cast.
The sun descends, closing its eyes,
A betrayal felt, a heart that cries.

Yet in this sinking, I find my muse,
A tale of wonder, of life to peruse.
It saddens some, yet for me it’s lore,
An experience deep, a journey to explore.

Mysteries linger, adventures call,
Echoes of secrets, whispers fall.
For those who dare to search the depths,
And open books long left unswept.

To see the unseen, to hear the unheard,
To give life to silence, to awaken the word.

And as I wait for the next thing to be,
A hero will rise to follow me.
For when I’m gone, the tale lives on,
A deeper world, a brighter dawn.
