Visiting Diocesan Shrine Parish of St. Therese of the Child Jesus

Wednesday Walk Thumb 89.jpg

Today after I brought my daughter to her therapy school I left the building and walked straight ahead to the parish at the front of LRT Masinag Station. Before we left home I have planned to look out for this parish because every time we went to one of the malls in Masinag I always saw the bell tower of this parish. Since we hadn't yet seen inside of the shrine where the parish was I was a little bit curious what is the inside of the shrine and the parish itself so I decided to explore the shrine and the parish. For the first time today, I got the name of this place. The name of this place is the Diocesan Shrine Parish of St. Therese of the Child Jesus.

The Diocesan Shrine Parish of St. Therese of the Child Jesus is located on Marcos Highway, Antipolo City. Outside of the road, this is what looks like the entrance of the shrine.

At the footbridge, I can see it through the bell tower of the parish. On the right side with a roof shape like a half egg with the statue of St. Therese at the top is the bell tower of the parish.

While walking at the footbridge I noticed the sky was so cloudy and the light rain started to pour.

The first thing you can see when you enter the compound of the shrine and parish is the statue of Jesus Christ and the Twelve Apostles.

A few meters away from the religious statues I found the statue of Moses holding the Ten Commandments carved into the stone.

After the Moses statue, I saw this amazing St. Michael The Archangel Statue every detail of this statue is quite impressive.

Well, I guess this statue is the St. Therese of the Child Jesus statue.

This Tower of Prayer is really amazing and at the top of the tower, you can find the bell of the parish.

I saw some prayer candles inside of the prayer tower and some of those still have fire.

This is the actual image outside of the Parish of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. Like the other church or parish, they had a cross at the of the roof. The shape of this parish is shaped like a barn but with a modern design.

As simple as the design is on the outside of the parish, it is just as beautiful on the inside. The design of the ceiling is so elegant I've never seen like that before.
