Street to Farm | TWS and Calawis Skateboarding
On February 09, 2025, Josh and I shredded on the street I brought him to the spots where I knew we both having fun while shredding every corner of the spot. A few days ago on February 16, 2025, I brought him to our spot in Teresa, Rizal. As I mentioned in my previous post Joshua stopped skating for almost a year and then he was encouraged to back and shredding again. On February 16, 2025, Sunday Josh and I went to our spot in Teresa, Rizal with his motorcycle after a year he finally saw and shredded in our spot in Teresa.
Together with our local homie in Teresa we shredded from noon until the sun goes down. Since Joshua stopped to skate for while he struggled to land a tricks in the obstacle he never land a single tricks but his skills still there maybe he need more time to fully back of all his tricks.
Highlights
Here are some of the highlights of the tricks we perfectly landed. You can see all of those tricks when you watch our YouTube video.
Joshua Bragais perfectly landed a Frontside 180 on the banks. Yep, he failed multiple times before he landed that trick.
Chris Lawrence Velasco landed a beautiful Varial Flip. The Varial Flip is one of my favorite Flip tricks after the Kickflip. Since I don't have a 360 Flip I consider the Varial Flip is my 360 Flip.
Doing a trick over an object is one of the very challenging in skateboarding and a little bit hard. If the object is too high you need more speed and more pop to land a trick perfectly but that is not an easy as you think. Once you accidentally put a lot of pressure on your back and lean back so much there is a chance you fall into the ground. Landed an Ollie over an object it felt so good because I could still be doing this thing.
Bernard Arandilla landed a Kickflip over a carton box since the carton box flattin into the ground it's called a Kickflip Gap.
