Ask Leo: is it advisable for school to introduce finance into the early years curriculum?

This issue came up as an argument between me and my wife few days ago and think it is important to shere and seek other people's opinions about it because I might be wrong in my own opinion about it and my wife might be correct,
Introduction of finance into early years curriculum is it a good idea or bad
To me i see that as a plus to educational system this days it is only parents that talk about finances in the house and to some extent it will be good for the children to also know how to manage funds and use their little money for some small investment no matter how small it may look
Schools is one of the best avenue to use to introduce finance classes to the early years and the earlier the better to start doing that as a course in their various schools
It not necessarily be cryptocurrency investment but some kind of savings from their 1$ for snacks or their 2$ that was given when uncle came around to visit during Xmas it will be better for the future of the children to no how to manage funds and have that as an habit because by doing so it will bring about relive to their parents in the future especially in a time like this that inflation and resecession is everywhere
Children also have a role they can play for them selfs and even in the life's of their parents with good habits about finances and that is my own submission about it
My wife argument is this she said parents are supposed to be on charge of all their children finances and that their will be no need for them to get involved in financial dealings that everything must be done by their parents she also said adding finance curriculum will only exposed them to money and luxury kind of lifestyle and if they were able to achieve that they may not be obedient to their parents because of this she fees that it is not necessary for finance to be included in the curriculum of early years

Conclusion

Introduction of finance curriculum might be a good one to some extent as for me because I see this as an opportunity to broaden the horizon of the children about finances and this will help them to become a better finance expert in the future and also it will bring about relive to their parents of they have the habit of savings in other to provide solution for them selfs without their parents providing everything for them but the only thing i think 💬 it should be included is age limit for those that will be involved
