Hello, Asean mates... Exploring Asean, including Indonesia, which consists of thousands of islands and many indigenous tribes, will certainly be endless. Like this post which I intend to introduce one of the traditional houses in Indonesia, namely a traditional house from the Maluku province.

For some reason, when it comes to locality, there seems to be many interesting halls. Moreover, I am also the type of person who once dreamed of travelling throughout the archipelago. Although, the archipelago's tourism is hampered by the high transportation costs. I really hope that this time the government is very focused on finding solutions for archipelago tourism so that transportation is cheap, so that its citizens do not hesitate to explore and introduce cultural heritage to the wider world.

For me, when I hear Maluku, I think of Ambon, which is the capital of the province. Maluku is famous for its beautiful natural attractions, ranging from national parks to endless beach tourism. Not to mention, Maluku is also known as the province of a thousand islands.

However, let me show you the diorama of Maluku traditional houses in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah in Jakarta. from the front, a gate that is a combination of colours between black, yellow and red in the form of carved carvings typical of Maluku province.

Actually, Maluku province has 3 types of traditional houses, and this is one of them, which I am describing here, is a house on stilts with full carved outer ornaments. The colours used for the carvings on the house match the colour of the gate, namely: black, golden, and red.

This house is designed to be as similar as possible to the original. In the front yard there is also a display of a clam shell which indicates that Maluku province is indeed very much related to the sea.
