TEH TARIK (Malaysian Tea) BY KOPI DIAN
A few days ago when I visited a tourist spot in Central Jakarta, after walking around for quite a while, I felt like I needed a refreshing drink to quench my thirst.
I still had some mineral water in my backpack, but since the weather was quite hot, I decided to buy an iced drink. Coincidentally, in the front yard of the tourist spot, there were many carts selling coffee and non-coffee drinks.
After looking at the menu and price list, my choice fell on the attraction of KOPI DIAN merch.
TEH TARIK BY KOPI DIAN
So, nowadays there is a trend of mobile coffee vendors offering packaging and presentation that is more next level than the previous mobile coffee vendors. This phenomenon is followed from lesser-known brands to well-known brands such as Janji Jiwa Kopi and Calf.
Lesser-known brands such as: JAGO, HAUS, and KOPI DIAN are also colouring the streets of the capital city.
Ok, back topic, so my menu of choice is teh tarik. Let's briefly review TEH TARIK which originated from Malaysia. Yes, we can call this TEH TARIK as the milk tea of Malaysians. However, later this menu also migrated to the archipelago, sometimes I'm a bit ambiguous about the original owner of the TEH TARIK idea, so let's skip this part.
TEH TARIK is similar to thai tea, which is a blend of milk and steeped tea. The difference is of course the processing of the tug of war between mug one and mug two which is done professionally by the TEH TARIK barista.
Because I haven't had this drink in a very long time, I finally ordered it with the price listed is 10,000 rupiah.
Payment can be made using cash or cashless. In less than a minute, the refreshing TEH TARIK was in my hand.
Hmm ... of course we can't compare the taste of this tea with the expensive ones. Because it's more light, even the flavour and the milk flavour don't seem to be blended properly. However, there is still a hint that this is a tensile tea. Ha ha ha
Other menu items provided by KOPI DIAN include: original coffee, milk coffee, palm sugar coffee, cappuccino, caramel macchiato coffee. As for non-coffee products: Matcha latte, choco milk, strawberry milk, teh tarik, lemon tea, thai tea, lychee tea,
After finishing my tea, I hurried home. Thank you for reading my writing.
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
