Como todos sus seguidores estaba a la espera de la animación del final SNK aunque ya había leído completo su manga, tenía mucha emoción por ver como adaptaban todo el material de Isayama. Me intrigaba saber si harían cambios o no, que para mi sorpresa no los hubo, quizás algo mínimo, pero siguieron fieles a lo ya antes publicado en su manga.

Like all his fans, I was waiting for the animation of the final SNK, even though I had already read the whole manga, I was very excited to see how they adapted all of Isayama's material. I was intrigued to know if they would make changes or not, which to my surprise there weren't, maybe something minimal, but they remained faithful to what was already published in his manga.

Como por ejemplo la muerte de la madre de Eren, como los personajes que parecían tener un futuro morían y también como algunos personajes no eran lo que aparentaban ser.
Esto me marco un poco porque desde su inicio te mostraban un trasfondo muy serio en la historia, el desarrollo de personajes, el misterio de las murallas y de la misma Isla Paradis simplemente me engancho rápidamente.

For example, the death of Eren's mother, how the characters that seemed to have a future died and also how some characters were not what they seemed to be. This marked me a little because from the beginning they showed you a very serious background in the story, the development of characters, the mystery of the walls and Paradis Island itself just hooked me quickly. 

Personajes super memorables como Erwin, Levi, Hange, Sasha, Jean, Armin, Ymir etc, escenas de acción impactantes acompañados de una buena animación y sin mencionar las escenas desgarradoras de SNK me mantuvieron al pendiente de la historia durante todos estos años. El arco de Kenny y Levi donde nos van explicando a fondo sobre los reyes nos ayuda a comprender más sobre el origen de las murallas y los poderes de los titanes, dando paso a lo que se desarrollaría más adelante y todo el conflicto que habría entre Paradis y Marley, si bien ya los titanes dejarían de ser un problema en esta nueva etapa el conflicto pasaría ser entre la humanidad.

 Super memorable characters like Erwin, Levi, Hange, Sasha, Jean, Armin, Ymir etc., stunning action scenes accompanied by good animation and not to mention the heartbreaking SNK scenes kept me tuned into the story for all these years. The arc of Kenny and Levi where they explain in depth about the kings helps us to understand more about the origin of the walls and the powers of the titans, giving way to what would develop later and all the conflict between Paradis and Marley, although the titans would no longer be a problem in this new stage the conflict would be between humanity.   

A mí en lo particular no me gusto que fragmentaran el final en tantas partes, pero entiendo que adaptar los capítulos era un reto, además que debían darle tiempo al manga para terminar, en lo general el anime me gusta bastante, pero se pierden muchos diálogos del manga que quizás ayudan a entender un poco mejor las cosas. Sin embargo, se puede seguir el hilo de la historia prestando atención a los detalles, me gustaba cuando a mitad de los capítulos dejaban una imagen explicando los poderes o las armas de los personajes.

I didn't like the fact that they fragmented the ending in so many parts, but I understand that adapting the chapters was a challenge, besides they had to give the manga time to finish, in general I like the anime quite a lot, but many dialogues from the manga are lost, which perhaps help to understand things a little better. However, you can follow the thread of the story by paying attention to the details, I liked when in the middle of the chapters they left an image explaining the powers or weapons of the characters. 

Habrá muchos fans que estén disgustados con el final, pero en mi caso no lo veo así, sé que es una serie con altos y bajos , por supuesto a todos nos encantaría que acabara exactamente como imaginamos pero eso imposible por lo que me gustaría ser imparcial con el final que le dieron, pero por otra parte sí estoy en desacuerdo con Eren y su plan final de acabar como más de la mitad de la humanidad, incluso si fuera por el bien de sus mejores amigos o por la libertad siento que fue muy extremista, siento que en este punto nos dan a un claro ejemplo de lo que pasa cuando dejan un enorme poder en las manos equivocadas, porque si bien Eren tenía sus motivos para salvar a la isla Paradis, este solo era un chico sin todos los conocimientos necesarios para encontrar una solución más razonable al problema. Llevándonos a esa escena que muchos le dieron “cringe” cuando este habla con Armin. La situación se salió de sus manos llevándolo a tener que obligar a sus amigos a que acaben con él. [esto solo sería una forma de verlo porque el personaje tuvo bastante desarrollo durante toda la serie].

There will be many fans who are upset with the ending, but in my case I don't see it that way, I know it's a series with highs and lows, of course we all would love it to end exactly as we imagined but that impossible so I would like to be impartial with the ending they gave it, but on the other hand I do disagree with Eren and his final plan to end up as more than half of humanity, even if it was for the sake of his best friends or for freedom I feel it was very extreme, I feel that at this point they give us a clear example of what happens when they leave a huge power in the wrong hands, because although Eren had his reasons to save Paradis Island, this was just a guy without all the necessary knowledge to find a more reasonable solution to the problem. Leading us to that scene that many gave him "cringe" when he talks to Armin. The situation got out of hand leading to him having to force his friends to finish him off. [this would only be one way of looking at it because the character had quite a bit of development throughout the series].

Algo que si me gusto fue el cierre de la legión de reconocimiento. Esa escena donde Levi ve y se despide de sus compañeros caídos entregando sus corazones me puso la piel de gallina al igual que la escena de Sasha con Connie y Jean me dejo tan conmovida como cuando lo leí en el manga. Otro aspecto que me gusto fue que dejaran que Reiner y Annie pudieran redimirse y tener un cierre digno. Aunque ellos también pueden considerarse víctimas del conflicto no se olvida que por culpa de ellos varios personajes en el pasado murieron.

One thing I did like was the closing of the legion of recognition. That scene where Levi sees and says goodbye to his fallen comrades by giving their hearts gave me goosebumps as well as Sasha's scene with Connie and Jean left me as moved as when I read it in the manga. Another aspect I liked was that they let Reiner and Annie be able to redeem themselves and have a dignified closure. Although they can also be considered victims of the conflict, it is not forgotten that because of them several characters in the past died.  

Por último, el trio de personajes principales tuvieron más que perder, Mikasa perdió su otra mitad, Armin a su mejor amigo y Eren perdiendo el futuro pacifico que pudo tener junto a ellos... todos tuvieron que sacrificar algo para poder conseguir “la libertad y paz”. Más el autor nos recuerda que aunque el conflicto con los titanes haya acabado, la humanidad seguirá teniendo sus diferencias y a pesar de los años la guerra y destrucción serán inevitables.

Finally, the trio of main characters had more to lose, Mikasa lost her other half, Armin lost his best friend and Eren lost the peaceful future he could have had with them... they all had to sacrifice something in order to achieve "freedom and peace". But the author reminds us that although the conflict with the titans is over, humanity will continue to have its differences and despite the years, war and destruction will be inevitable.
