Tomatoes turned red, we planted turnips

After a while, I am sharing a new post in the HiveGarden community again. The harvest season of the products in our garden is approaching.

We have completely harvested the onions. We were not consuming onion leaves because they had become hard. We extended the harvest time so that the trunk became larger. We plant turnips every year in the section where the onions are. Since it was time to plant turnips, we removed the onions from the soil.

Soğanları tamamen hasat ettik. Soğan yaprakları artık kartlaştığı için tüketmiyorduk. Gövdenin iyice irileşmesi için hasat süresini uzatmıştık. Soğanın olduğu bölüme her yıl şalgam ekeriz. Şalgam ekim zamanı geldiği için soğanları topraktan çıkardık.

I can't say that I like turnip dishes very much. My mother and father love the dishes containing turnip and it is used abundantly, especially in winter dishes. Turnip leaves are pickled. It is used in 3 different dishes. After the turnip stem is harvested, a one-meter well is dug and buried in it. It is taken out in winter and cooked with dried meat. There are many people who love food, but I only eat the meat of the food.

Şalgam yemeklerini pek sevdiğim söylenemez. Anne ile babam şalgamın konulduğu yemekleri çok sever ve özellikle kış mevsimi yemeklerinde bolca kullanılır. Şalgam yapraklarının turşusu yapılır. 3 farklı yemekte kullanılır. Şalgamın gövdesi hasat edildikten sonra bir metrelik kuyu kazılır ve içine gömülür. Kış mevsiminde çıkartılır ve kurutulmuş et ile birlikte pişirilir. Yemeği seven çok fazla kişi var ancak ben sadece yemeğin etini yerim.

Salham is a very fast growing plant. I took these photos a few days before the previous turnip photos. The number of sunny days will decrease in the coming days, but it cannot be said that turnips like the sun and hot weather very much. After it grows a little, cool weather ripening is very important.

Şalham oldukça hızlı büyüyen bir bitki. Bu fotoğrafları önceki şalgam fotoğraflarından bir kaç gün önce çekmiştim. Güneşli gün sayısı önümüzdeki günlerde azalacak ancak şalgamın güneşi , sıcak havayı çok sevdiği söylenemez. Biraz büyüdükten sonra serin hava olgunlaşması oldukça önemli.

We started to pick the reddened and ripe tomatoes one by one. We will continue to pick and consume tomatoes as they ripen. It is especially delicious when consumed for breakfast.

İyice kızaran, olgunlaşan domatesleri tek tek koparmaya başaldık. Domatesler olgunlaştıkça koparıp tüketmeye devam edeceğiz. Özellikle kahvaltı tüketince daha lezzetli oluyor.

We also use tomatoes in salads. We dry some of them and consume them in winter meals. There are many dishes in which tomato is used, it is one of the important vegetables.

Domatesi salata da kullanıyoruz. Bir kısmını da kurutup kış yemeklerinde tüketiyoruz. Domatesin kullanıldığı çok fazla yemek var, önemli sebzelerden biri.
