Hello my dear listeners and readers 💜
today I come to fulfill what I promised !
the new cover !!!
whooohoooo!
I hope you have as much fun as I have had, this is a song to enjoy, to dance or if you want to drink some tea with friends.
You have no idea how happy I am to be able to sing this song, and share it with you, it means a lot to me, because both the song and the musical genre I like a lot, but I never had the courage to cover it, until after much meditation and convincing myself that I could do it!
First let's talk a little bit about this wonderful musical genre, which will certainly become frequent in my next songs.

City pop (in Japanese シティ・𰷝ップ, shitī poppu) is a subgenre of J-pop popularized during the 1980s coinciding with the financial bubble experienced in Japan. Initially considered the soundtrack of the economic prosperity experienced by the country, or a sort of "music for yuppies", its aesthetics and cultural imprint on Japanese society was intense. Factors such as the accelerated increase in the quality of life of the average Japanese, the strong Western influence of the post-war period, or the rural migration to the big cities in search of better job opportunities, drove the genre.
With the bursting of the financial bubble in the late 1980s, the onset of the so-called "lost decade " and the profound change in lifestyle and culture due to the severe shock that resulted from this collapse, led to the demise of the genre coinciding with the end of the Shōwa Era. At the end of the 2010s iconic songs of the genre such as "Mayonaka no Door / Stay With Me" by Miki Matsubara or "Plastic Love" by Mariya Takeuchi have gone viral on apps like YouTube, social networks like TikTok or streaming platforms like Spotify. This has provided a vindication of City Pop, its popularization in the West and its revitalization for later generations.

With this in mind, most city pop lyrics at the time and even now, have deeply tinged the hearts of everyone regardless of age, as city pop songs tell stories of love in the city.
it is a very romantic genre, knowing the time and under what influences it was born, when listening to it you can feel a natural nostalgic

The music soundtrack is from this video
