Hello everyone and welcome to another day in this challenge of drawing 1 pixelart per day along with animation, I am thisnwegirl and those who know me know that my goal is to draw for as long as possible and improve over time.

For today's blog, we have Miu as the main character!
Miu is one of those characters/creatures that can evolve, so it occurred to me that maybe with a special fruit Miu could temporarily evolve into a human form and give you hints/ or exchange text dialogues with you.

C: this is my first version of human miu, maybe in the future I will change more things, in her design in general, but I love to be able to humanize creatures, since I always thought it would be great to know what our pets think C:
I think nowadays there are buttons that our pet friends can push to try to communicate things to us and that's as interesting as it is disturbing and exciting.

the reference :

This is the reference I used, I tried to keep the rounded aspect of this miu that has not evolved yet, for my sketch/lineart I tried to make her head look rounded and the ears chubby and close together.

My sketches are usually like this ... it's nothing "beautiful" but it's how I manage to locate where it's going to be the head, the size, the legs etc etc.

Base Lineart

Before choosing what kind of clothes I would put on her, I made the base of the body where I define silhouettes, height and pose, the pose is nothing extravagant, I tried to make it as basic as possible because I wasn't sure what exactly I was going to animate. i do al this based on the sketch, and and try to do cleaner lines so i can move on and start coloring.

I finally decided to make a chinese dress for miu, with flared sleeves and high neck.

here i started working on the skin shades

finished the skin tones/ shadows and also changed the color of the dress

fixed and finished the face

and thats it C:

For the animation: i worked with 14+ frames

and my color palette is a bunch of gray colors
