Hello! welcome to my personal challenge of making 1 pixelart a day, today is day 5, and I hope to continue like this for at least a month. and then for 5

Without a doubt today was hard, hard to start, hard to think what I wanted to do.
My biggest motivation is to discover what I can do, even when I don't have the courage or the head to do it, and if you are one of those artists, just push forward, because for sure, when you finish you will feel happy with the result, and if you think you didn't do something great, keep in mind that the idea is to create something, it is better to be in movement than to be static lamenting that you don't have the motivation to do x thing.

The theme for today was forest, because I love forests and the color green, and I like gothic lolita style, very japanese fashion and cats! so I did my best to mix it.

Hola! bienvenidos a mi reto personal de hacer 1 pixelart diario, hoy es el dia 5, y espero seguir asi por al menos un mes.
Sin duda hoy fue dificil, dificil empezar, dificil pensar que tenia ganas de hacer.
Mi mayor motivacion es descubrir que puedo hacer, aun cuando no tengo el animo o la cabeza para hacerlo, y si tu eres uno de esos artistas, simplemente empuja hacia adelante, porque de seguro, cuando termines te sentirás feliz con el resultado, y si crees que no hiciste algo genial, ten en mente que la idea es crear algo, es mejor estar en movimiento que estar estático lamentándote que no logras tener motivación para hacer x cosa.
El tema para el dia de hoy fue bosque, porque me encantan los bosques y el color verde, y me gusta mucho el estilo gothic lolita muy moda japonesa y gatos! asi que hice mi mejor intento para mezclarlo.

Lineart in pixelart for me is always an issue I always think "aghh this looks bad, I don't like that curve" etc etc, but I always remember that I can fix everything when I start drawing on top of layers and I try to keep in mind that the ideal is to draw in layers.

El lineart en pixelart para mi siempre es un tema siempre pienso "aghh esto se ve mal, esa curva no me gusta" etc etc, pero siempre recuerdo que todo lo puedo arreglar cuando comience a dibujar encima de capas y trato de tener en mente que lo ideal es dibujar por capas.

See ? after applying color everything feels a thousand times better, so for me it already looks good, I will probably create other versions in the future with another style of pixelart more simple coloring.

Ven ? despues de aplicar color todo se siente mil veces mejor, asi para mi ya se ve bien, probablemente cree otras versiones en el futuro con otro estilo de coloreado mas simple en pixelart.

In my opinion everything looks better when I lighten the hair, although I always struggle with whether to leave some things with one color or not.

En mi opinion todo se ve mejor cuando le coloco luz al cabello, aunque siempre batallo entre si dejar algunas cosas con un solo color o no.

As part of the clothing, the dress on the top has a layer with the minimum opacity and another layer on top with dithering to give it texture.

Como parte de la ropa, el vestido en la parte de arriba tiene una capa con la opacidad minima y otra capa arriba con dithering para darle textura.

Background

ok XD with pixelart you have to work with spots and figures that make you understand what exactly is happening, that's why silhouettes are important in pixelart, things have to be recognizable.

ok XD con el pixelart tienes que trabajar con manchas y figuras que te hagan entender que exactamente esta sucediendo, por eso las siluetas son importantes en pixelart, las cosas tienen que ser reconocibles.

When I finished, I noticed that something was missing, something with the colors, I wasn't sure what, until I remembered basic principles, like light, what is my main light and where does it come from? what color is it?
So for the animation I put all the layers together and started working on the colors that made me feel like I was in a forest.

I thought it would be nice to have a yellow light moving, so that was my idea for the animation, plus the blink of the character.

I'm happy with the result, A user suggested in the previous post to do something dragon related, so I have to think what exactly to do C:
probably make a pixel journey to more asian areas to bring a dragon to life..... somehow.

Al terminar, note que hacia falta algo, algo con los colores, no estaba segura del que, hasta que recorde principios basicos, como cuales??? luz, cual es mi luz principal y de donde viene ? de que color es?
Asi fue como para la animacion junte todas las capas y comence a trabajar en los colores que me hacian sentido al estar en un bosque.
Pense que seria lindo tener una luz amarilla moviendose, asi que esa fue mi idea para la animacion, ademas de el parpadeo del personaje.
estoy feliz con el resultado, Un usuario sugirio en el post anterior que hiciera algo relacionado con un dragon, asi que tengo que pensar que exactamente hacer C:
probablemente hagamos un pixel viaje hacia areas mas asiaticas para traer a la vida a un dragon... de alguna forma.
