The Bundle Of Beans Diaries - Day 14 - Lazy Sunday And Football
Endless relaxation
The foster families have a separate group chat where we can update the others about the status of the foster cats and kittens. In this chat it's been mentioned several times that they only sleep, lol. I have bombarded them with pictures of relaxed and sleeping kittens, so I can imagine they thought they were a bit lazy. Of course, I also made sure to send videos of them playing altogether or just solo. To watch kitten(s) play is actually very entertaining!
Lazy Sunday
As we felt the kittens may be sad about Guisante leaving, we also made sure the Sunday was filled with cuddles, playtime, and being around the kittens. We had them out of the playpen most of the day which they love because that means they can sleep in the pink bed which is their favorite. Although I have to say that they start to enjoy sleeping on the top of the scratching post more as well.
Garbanzo cuddles
The kitten in the header image is Garbanzo, the sweetheart is always in for a good cuddle session and falls asleep almost every time. She is so soft, it's crazy! I mean every kitten is soft but she has a silky touch, I wonder if she is blessed with extra soft fur or if it will slowly change even in her case. Either way, she's very loveable and always in for a cuddle session, and then she starts grooming our hands too, the little doll! She often also falls asleep while playing, haha. That's too funny to see and sometimes it means she falls over and then wakes up wondering what happened.
Playtime
Sometimes Haba sleeps sooner than the rest, it's probably because he's still smaller and needs a bit more sleep than Frijole for example. But usually, there's at least one of the siblings trying to get Haba to play with them as well. He usually waits until they stop trying and just goes to sleep. This is not always the case though but here in the picture below, it sure was:
Haba moved to the pink bed and then Alubia was playing in the bed on top of the scratching post with the ball. He's so cute! They absolutely love playing with these little balls we bought them and all of them have been going crazy running like pro football players! I'm glad we went back to buy an extra bag of them because some have been torn and had to be thrown out. We will give one ball to each kitten for when they move to their new homes. All of them are played with first, of course, so they smell their siblings and hopefully feel a bit less scared when traveling.
Aha, another tabby cat! I have so many pictures of the brothers! Now tell me do you see the difference?
And another one for even more confusion. Can you see which two pictures are one cat and which is different?
I can see it right away when I pick them up and look at them directly but when they are playing, they are so fast and I often need to see both their faces to make sure. They are so fast though that often I go through the pictures and videos wondering who it was that was in the picture or video. They are all so handsome though, these little kittens!
That was it for today and also the end of week two with our little furballs. See you tomorrow!
