The Bundle Of Beans Diaries - Day 13 - Massages & Relaxing

Today was about being relaxed

We understand that when a sibling leaves the nest some cats may miss their sibling a bit if they were true play buddies. In this case, Haba was the closest to Guisante and as Haba is already so tiny compared to the male tabby cats, we figured he may need some extra TLC this weekend. We made sure to be at home a lot, while also being able to enjoy some fresh air and tapas when desired and were trying to make the most out of our time left with the remaining four kittens.

Still on medication

The vet prescribed a new week of medication for Guardia (a parasite) and they would have to take this until Wednesday. I was afraid it would mean a lot more days with diarrhea but to my surprise, two out of four were having regular poops without the nasty smell. This made it a lot easier as the litterbox smell went down a lot since the weekend. We adopted a new way to give their meds and probiotics though which can also be the reason things were working a bit better now. They really hate the meds and we both didn't enjoy giving it. The probiotics (liquid) they enjoyed, thankfully.

PJs and massages

As per every Saturday, my boyfriend had to work in the morning so the little lady and myself were the ones playing with the kittens. In my daughter's case, she decided to give them a massage to be extremely relaxed. I will show a few of the pictures below:

I can assure you that they were truly enjoying it and purring loudly. It's adorable how they love being with us as much as they can and enjoy the love we give them. I can safely say that we started to love them all and will be sad to see them go. I've been preparing my daughter for this moment for a few days now, although the departure of Guisante went smoother than I expected. She did not even cry, while I was fully prepared she would. I guess my little girl is tougher than her mother because I cried!

Good cleaning

Besides the kittens relaxing, I made sure that I did a good cleaning in the room, so the kittens spent a bit of time in the playpen as well so that the floor had time to dry. It's not easy in this room because of the lack of airflow most of the time. Thankfully the kittens weren't bothered because the rest of the time they could play in the whole bedroom.

It's too funny to see how these little furballs fall asleep sometimes. And how they can just continue sleeping with one of their bigger siblings on top of them. I'm amazed but I also fall in love every time I see them in a cute pose. They are a bunch of amazing cats and I can't wait to see their pictures when grow up. I bet Frijole will become a big cat as he's already so big now. I wonder if Garbanzo will stay as soft as she is now. Time will tell!
