Picnic at lagoon of the 7 cidades , Azores

Welcome back and here is the second part of the tour around the lagoon, as well as the trip and the rental and how to get there, it was already lunch time and more beautiful and rural places have little to offer in terms of food, as I recommend you go to the supermarket first and buy something to fill your belly :)
That said, nothing better than an invitation to a light meal in this incredible landscape, right?
(don't forget, whenever you visit places and have the initiative, talk to the locals and collect all the rubbish you make, together for a better world and a nature that is cared for is a nature that is loved)

There you can find some side tables where age and time take over the stone and appropriate it, making it “part of nature”.
Have you ever imagined a scene from a movie right in front of us in the immensity of a green mountain while we are having a picnic? Well, I was able to have the experience in full nature. Believe me, if you have the opportunity to go there, you will have the same experience as me, it is as if all the weight is lifted and for moments while we are in that place, life stops just for you. contemplate serenity and nature.

For many, the Azores are the best nature destination and certainly live up to their name, those who believe in certain tales and history say that the famous “Atalanta” would be somewhere in this area, but so far nothing has been proven.
I stayed there for about 5 days, and had very few weather opportunities considering that the weather should always be more or less with these clouds always surrounding the mountains and high places, where we have perfect visibility of the entire place, but it gives an air of mystery and curiosity at the same time.
Impressive place where this walk ends up being revitalizing, without destination and without time just walking

As we walk along the trails at each corner of the mountain, a different scene always awaits us but along the way the car-free calm makes up for every minute in the place

In addition to the green, it is also possible to see some flowers typical of the place, which I don't know exactly how to translate into English, but in Portuguese we call them “nests”, it is a plant that produces a rounded flower shape but itself has several small flowers that they grow next to the road baletas, which happens despite being next to the river

The river is green, but at the bottom we can see the bottom and there are some species of frogs typical of the place where the noise in certain areas with aquatic vegetation is almost deafening.On the surface in certain places there is a type of water lily that can be seen in the photo

In several places there are accents to contemplate the environment that surrounds us, made of wood and 100% natural that do not pollute the visual or environmental environment, everything fits perfectly into the landscape as if straight out of a fairy tale.

Still on the trail we managed to see a camping tent, not knowing for sure if it's legal to camp there, but it also doesn't interfere with the vegetation or the passage as it's in a corner of the trail between 2 trees.

Moving on, I can show you a little of the trail, which is not very steep despite being on dirt, we can easily do it on foot without any propulsion mechanism such as reinforcing irons.

This is a true paradise for true nature lovers.
