Starlink in Your Pocket And Anywhere 😎

So right now, SpaceX is testing a cellular Starlink service that doesn't need a clear view of the sky to work effectively.

What do I mean by that? Well I mean you can have your StarLink phone signal whether you're inside your house, in your car moving at any speed or even with your phone just sitting in your pocket. StarLink is great but their main problem has always been their availability or accessibility everywhere and that's exactly what they're trying to resolve.

Ben Longmier from SpaceX even tested it himself at his dinner table so at least I can trust that these guys are confident about this new StarLink upgrade. Thank God this ain't another hype like Elon Musk's Robotaxi, they're actually going to make it happen soon.

The technology already proved to be very reliable when they used it to send text messages to hurricane victims when they were in a desperate need. I think this is what makes StarLink stand out the most, because it's a satellite thing, even during disasters with communication cables interrupted, people could still communicate.

Another cool thing is that the service might soon cover the dead zones where cell service doesn’t reach. The company says they want to start with light data transmissions like text messages in 2025, but they're hoping to eventually support voice calls and real-time data.

At this moment we can call it a work in progress since they’re still waiting on FCC approval to avoid interference with other networks that are already in operation. But if this takes off, Elon Musk will become a richer man.
