I Can't Resist Donald Trump's Ridiculous Crypto Sneakers

Sometimes we buy things even though we know they're really not good. A typical example is Taylor Swift concert front-row seats or some $10 wine from the supermarket.

And now there's Donald Trump's new sneaker collection. These sneakers are pretty loud, flashy, and scream "crypto chic" more than a Bitcoin bro at a conference hehehehe.

What colors do these sneakers come in? Bitcoin orange or Trump's spray tan, if you haven't seen it Google it. These $499 high tops are already reselling for thousands on eBay. Damn it, should have gotten the first set. They have the US flag, the Bitcoin logo, and "Trump crypto president" on the side. They're such an over the top monstrosity that I need them desperately, like very desperately. I'm already a big fan of High tops and looking forward to seeing Trump as president so this is a pretty awesome sneaker for me.

Why would I get such a pricey thing? Well nothing, just for the ridiculousness and a few social experiments. I bet if I had one and showed it on Instagram I'd instantly trend.

Wearing crypto merch in public basically turns you into a magnet for crypto geeks and any hottie that understands crypto stuff. With the Bitcoin T-shirt on you, any day anytime I bet people would stop and talk to you about their crypto adventuree if they're crypto fans that is.

I remember getting a high-five at a underground station infront of my favorite shop. At the gym, a personal trainer gave me an hour-long lecture on technical analysis.

That t shirt was like a secret handshake into the crypto world and that's another reason why I'll be printing a couple of Hive logo tshirts soon. Hopefully as Hive gets more popular it would be a total flex wearing the T-shirt and I'll probably print my Lion logo as well too.

When it comes to crypto merchandise and Donald Trump, I'd say he's really late to the party. Weird crypto merchandise already floods the markets. And some friends commented in my previous blogs that regardless of whether crypto gets a president or not, it will still thrive. I totally believe that idea but I think Crypto gaining favor in politics will really help its adoption process.

You can get blockchain logo cushions, physical Bitcoins, socks, posters, keychains, neon lights, phone cases, silk neckties, stickers, and coasters. There's a lot of merchandise out there representing different crypto tokens and Blockchain projects.

You can even get, on Etsy, a "Diamond Hands bundle" of gold coins shaped to resemble various tokens, with stands, and it'll run you $700. Or $150 set of crypto tarot cards, a solid gold Bitcoin necklace, a bust of Satoshi, or even bedsheets. I would have shared a couple of pictures but I wouldn't want to plagiarize so just Google each example I share with you.

There are actually tons of T-shirts with catchphrases like "Crypto is for virgins," "Crypto is freedom," "Block Chains Matter," "Bitcoin is hope," and "Kiss me I bought Bitcoin in 2010." Speaking of buying Bitcoin I. 2010, damn I really wish I did, I'd be a millionaire today.

Mainstream efforts at crypto fashion also had their moments. You remember those ugly Bored Ape trainers in Skechers stores, courtesy of a Snoop Dogg collab? Well, now comes Trump's sneakers.

Nothing says future finance like a pair of some overpriced and tacky kicks, but I still want them.

On the left is a black version which I called Trump's spray tan hehehe and the right is an orange version. I totally prefer the black since it could match many of my clothes and I like black.
