¡Hola a todos!

Bueno, tengo bastante tiempo sin publicar en Geek Zone. Al principio quería hacerlo más que nada para hablar de mis reviews de productos o temas interesantes que estén relacionados a la tecnología, pero poco después quise traer un poco de contenido gaming.. y no todo resultó como lo planeaba XD.

Mi vida ha sido un poquito loca a lo largo de estos meses, al principio tenía muchas ganas de participar en todos los lugares posibles dentro de Hive y publicar en distintas comunidades. Pero un par de días después de haberme prometido eso, conseguí un trabajo en una compañía de marketing y esto me abrió las puertas a muchas otras cosas. He intentado independizarme un poco más y alejarme un poco de la necesidad de publicar constántemente en Hive para mantener una cantidad de "ingresos" estable.

Emigrar es algo un poquito complicado al principio, diría que es aún peor cuando lo haces solo. Desde que tengo memoria mi vida ha sido junto a mis tíos, ellos me han preparado comida y me han lavado mi ropa, básicamente un consentido. Mudarme a Bogotá fue una de las decisiones más importantes para mi vida, ser independiente en todo es algo que me abrumó demasiado al principio, pero increíblemente logré sobrellevarlo.

¿Por qué estoy hablando de este tema? Porque esto está relacionado a los ingresos estables que mencioné hace un momento. Steem/Hive desde hace muchos años ha sido mi fuente de ingresos y desde que estoy en Bogotá ha pasado a ser mi esperanza para sustentarme en este país extranjero. No me gustaría estar haciendo power down constantemente de todo mi HP, estoy completamente seguro de que tendría más de 5k de HP si jamás hubiese hecho power down, pero es algo que estoy obligado a hacer si quiero vivir aquí. Lastimosamente estoy considerando devolverme a Venezuela por motivos personales, pero allá sentía que podía aumentar mi stake y así demostrar más mi compromiso con la comunidad (también estoy 100% seguro de que en los próximos años el Hive valdrá muchísimo más).

Pero lastimosamente no puedo, tengo que estar haciendo power down constantemente y personalmente no me gusta. Es por esto que he estado buscando otras alternativas de trabajo y es así como terminé trabajando para una agencia de marketing, cosa que lastimosamente ya no hago por ciertas disputas. Creo que terminaré haciendo una Catarsis en otra publicación, así que dejaré esta lloradera para un próximo post :)

Aún recuerdo haber leído eso por primera vez. Se me destruyó el corazón en mil pedazos, y lo peor del caso es que me lo vendieron como una "reformación del equipo, te aviso cuando termine de organizar todo". BRUHHH.

Pero meh, simplemente dije que no voy a morirme por eso y aquí estoy. Estoy bastante feliz de volver a publicar, no de forma tan constante como lo solía hacer (y espero comenzar a hacerlo de nuevo), pero sí estoy haciendo presencia un poco por aquí y un poco por allá. Siempre solía comentar en los posts de Geek Zone porque me gusta muchísimo esta comunidad, así que hey, espero estar mucho más activo aquí y de verdad me alegra volver a estar aquí.

Así que, ¿qué les traigo hoy?

El mejor juego del mundo.

Para quien no lo sepa: Este juego es Counter Strike: Global Offensive, y efectivamente NO es el mejor juego del mundo, pero sí uno de mis juegos favoritos actualmente.

Hace ya más de 1 mes empecé a jugarlo y desde entonces ya tengo casi 400 horas en este juego, donde si no hubiese sido por mis amigos, estoy seguro de que ya lo hubiese abandonado hace mucho. Lo había jugado hace un par de años pero jamás de forma competitiva o con el objetivo de mejorar constantemente, solo un shooter casual que jugaba para pasar el rato con mis amigos.

Decidimos comprar el Status Prime y esto ha aumentado la competitivdad muchísimo más, y casi siempre nos arrollan en las partidas: Pero las risas nunca faltan. Especialmente cuando hay ciertos bugs dentro del juego.

¿Alguien sabe de dónde viene esa sombra?

En esta partida de Mirage la pasamos realmente increíble y fue bastante intensa en todo momento. Hubieron momentos simplemente asombrosos y el final fue lo que hizo que esta partida fuera una total locura.

Espero traer muchas más partidas de CSGO y tal vez incluso nuestros mejores momentos. Este juego nos trae muchas risas y ha valido la pena cada momento.

Hello everyone!

Well, I haven't posted in Geek Zone for quite a while. At first I wanted to do it mostly to talk about my product reviews or interesting topics that are related to technology, but shortly after I wanted to bring some gaming content... and not everything went as planned XD.

My life has been a little bit crazy during these months, at the beginning I really wanted to participate in all possible places in Hive and post in different communities. But a couple of days after I promised myself that, I got a job in a marketing company and this opened the doors to many other things. I've been trying to become a little more independent and get away from the need to constantly post on Hive to maintain a steady amount of "income".

Emigrating is a bit complicated at first, I would say it is even worse when you do it alone. For as long as I can remember my life has been with my uncles, they have prepared food for me and washed my clothes, basically I have been spoiled. Moving to Bogota was one of the most important decisions for my life, being independent in everything is something that overwhelmed me too much at first, but incredibly I managed to cope with it.

Why am I talking about this topic? Because this is related to the stable income I mentioned a moment ago. Steem/Hive for many years has been my source of income and since I am in Bogota it has become my hope to sustain myself in this foreign country. I wouldn't want to be constantly powering down all my HP, I'm pretty sure I'd have over 5k HP if I'd never power down, but it's something I'm forced to do if I want to live here. Unfortunately I am considering moving back to Venezuela for personal reasons, but there I felt I could increase my stake and show more of my commitment to the community (I am also 100% sure that in the next few years the Hive will be worth a lot more).

But unfortunately I can't, I have to be doing power down constantly and personally I don't like it. That's why I've been looking for other job alternatives and that's how I ended up working for a marketing agency, which unfortunately I don't do anymore because of some disputes. I think I'll end up doing a catharsis in another post, so I'll leave this crying for a future post :)

I still remember reading that for the first time. It shattered my heart into a thousand pieces, and the worst part of the case is that it was sold to me as a "team reformation, I'll let you know when I finish organizing everything". BRUHHH.

But meh, I just said I'm not going to die for it and here I am. I'm quite happy to be posting again, not as consistently as I used to (and I hope to start doing that again), but I am making presence a little bit here and a little bit there. I always used to comment on Geek Zone posts because I really, really like this community, so hey, I hope to be a lot more active here and I'm really glad to be back here.

So, what can I bring you today?

The best game in the world.

For those who don't know: This game is Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and indeed it is NOT the best game in the world, but it is one of my favorite games at the moment.

I started playing it more than 1 month ago and since then I already have almost 400 hours in this game, where if it hadn't been for my friends, I'm sure I would have abandoned it a long time ago. I had played it a couple of years ago but never competitively or with the goal of constantly improving, just a casual shooter that I played to hang out with my friends.

We decided to buy the Status Prime and this has increased the competitiveness a lot more, and almost always we are overwhelmed in the games: But the laughs are never lacking. Especially when there are certain bugs in the game.

Does anyone know where that shadow comes from?

In this Mirage game we had a really amazing time and it was quite intense at all times. There were some simply amazing moments and the ending was what made this game totally crazy.

I hope to bring many more CSGO games and maybe even our best moments. This game brings a lot of laughs and it was worth every moment.
