¡Hola a todos!

Las aventuras en ARK se dispararon y hasta ahora hemos hecho un avance gigantesco en nuestro objetivo de derrotar a los bosses del primer mapa.

Lastimosamente tuvimos que dejar de lado al mapa The Center debido a la gran cantidad de bugs que comenzamos a notar cada vez que jugábamos, especialmente la imposibilidad de entrar al mar abierto porque no podíamos estar lejos del anfitrión a menos que este estuviera en el mar junto a nosotro.

Así que debido a esto, volvimos a jugar The Island y comenzamos a hacer desastres en este mapa. Al comienzo estábamos todos juntos, pero poco a poco nos han surgido más ocupaciones y principalmente hemos sido @thisryz y yo quienes hemos jugado mayormente este mapa.

Por primera vez domestiqué un Mamut y antes había escuchado que su montura era para 2 personas, por lo que me animé a crear una montura y comenzar a usarlo.

Cuando lo comprobé le pedí a Thisryz que se montara en la parte detrás del Mamut y al parecer el retoque de los tambores crea una especie de aura alrededor; no estoy seguro de la función que hace cuando crea el aura, pero estoy seguro de que es un buff para los dinos cercanos.

Y esta montura me recuerda a una unidad del Warcraft 3 por algún motivo.

Poco después de esto decidimos ir a explorar los mares con unos Megalodones que domesticamos en una costa. De nuevo, siento que los mares son los lugares que menos he explorado en ARK y cada vez que lo hago me sorprendo, pero hay momentos donde siento un grima demasiado fuerte porque parece mucho vacío y nunca sabes cuándo pueda aparecer algo inmenso.

Para nuestra sorpresa, terminamos encontrando una cueva mientras estábamos explorando y me encantó lo bonita que se veía.

No recordaba que había una cueva submarina en The Island, pero decidimos explorar y ver si encontrábamos nuestro primer artefacto para comenzar a progresar en nuestra misión de acabar con los bosses.. Aunque lastimosamente no pudimos conseguir nada.

Conseguimos un lugar en específico donde estaba el aura que emanan los artefactos, pero nunca supimos cómo llegar allí; por lo que simplemente seguimos nuestro camino y explorando la cueva.

Lastimosamente aquí se me fue el internet y Thisryz perdió la conexión justo cuando estábamos rodeados por medusas y Megalodones nivel 280. Él murió y mi Megalodón también estuvo cerca de morir, pero pude recuperar sus cosas e irme a la costa donde dejamos a nuestros Argentavis.

Luego de esto decidimos ir a tamear un Quetzal ya que queríamos construir una casa encima de este y también explorar bastante. No pude tomar muchas fotos de cuando estábamos tameándolo porque era imposible en el momento, pero encontré cosas bastante extrañas en lugares que no había explorado.

Haber domesticado al Quetzal fue un logro, pero es gracioso porque no le hemos dado nada de uso hasta ahora. Hemos estado centrados en otras cosas que simplemente lo tenemos como adorno, pero estoy totalmente seguro de que llegará un momento donde necesitemos usarlo.

Luego de esto solamente me centré en domesticar un nuevo Argentavis porque lastimosamente uno de mis Argys favoritos (explorador) murió por un Yutyrannus y un Carno alfa:( Ese Argy tenía 151% de velocidad y simplemente era perfecto para explorar y recorrer grandes distancias en un tiempo extremadamente corto.

En mi búsqueda de un reemplazo terminé encontrando a Dios, un Argentavis de nivel 340 actualmente que tiene un ataque de 2000%. Estoy sorprendido de cómo un Argentavis puede alcanzar tanto daño, pero estoy totalmente seguro de que no existe ni existirá un dinosaurio que tenga tanto daño.

Por otro lado, terminé conociendo un Argentavis que me enamoró totalmente apenas lo vi:

Lo vi con el catalejo y simplemente no podía creer lo que estaba viendo XD. Tener un Argy de este nivel significaría tener un animal aún más potente que Dios, así que lo domestiqué y decidí darle un toque distinto para tener un Argy con un daño aplastante y con otro hacer que aguante los golpes de los dinos.

Actualmente Lucifer tiene unos 40-50k de vida máxima, así que estoy totalmente seguro de que nada podría matarlo antes de que Dios acabe con lo que sea que tengamos que matar. Estoy sorprendido por las capacidades de los Argentavis, personalmente considero que son de los mejores dinos del juego.

Estos 2 cadáveres llevan días que no se meten al servidor, y Perceval mucho menos, pero su cuerpo está botado en una roca cerca de la casa XD.

Poco después de estar por aquí y por allá @thisryz decidió que por fin era hora de mejorar la casa ya que no teníamos espacio para guardar nuestros materiales y tampoco parecía una casa digna.

Así que adjunto un par de screenshots del progreso de la casa:

Tengo que admitir que la casa está quedando increíble. En todo este tiempo mi participación en la construcción ha sido solo recolectando los materiales para hacerla posible, pero toda la maestría arquitectónica la está empleando @thisryz.

Aún no está terminada, y aún no estoy seguro de cuántos pisos tendrá esta casa: Lo único que sé es que ya tenemos espacio de sobra y un lugar digno para llamar hogar.

Espero que en mi próximo post hablando de The Island por fin exploremos las cuevas ya que ha pasado bastante tiempo y no lo hemos hecho porque no hemos querido, básicamente.

Hello everyone!

The adventures in ARK went off and so far we have made a gigantic progress in our goal of defeating the bosses of the first map.

Unfortunately we had to leave The Center map aside due to the large amount of bugs we started to notice every time we played, especially the impossibility to enter the open sea because we couldn't be far from the host unless the host was in the sea next to us.

So because of this, we went back to playing The Island and started making messes on this map. At the beginning we were all together, but little by little more and more occupations have come up and mainly it has been @thisryz and I who have mostly played this map.

For the first time I tamed a Mammoth and I had previously heard that its mount was for 2 people, so I was encouraged to create a mount and start using it.

When I checked it out I asked Thisryz to ride on the back of the Mammoth and apparently tinkering with the drums creates some sort of aura around it; I'm not sure what function it does when it creates the aura, but I'm sure it's a buff for nearby dinos.

And this mount reminds me of a Warcraft 3 unit for some reason.

Shortly after this we decided to go exploring the seas with some Megalodons that we tamed on a coast. Again, I feel like the seas are the places I've explored the least in ARK and every time I do I'm surprised, but there are times where I feel too much of a cringe because it seems so empty and you never know when something huge might show up.

To our surprise, we ended up finding a cave while we were exploring and I loved how pretty it looked.

I didn't remember that there was an underwater cave on The Island, but we decided to explore and see if we could find our first artifact to start progressing in our mission to take down the bosses. Unfortunately we couldn't get anything though.

We did get a specific place where the aura that the artifacts emanate was, but we never knew how to get there; so we just continued on our way and explored the cave.

Unfortunately here my internet went down and Thisryz lost the connection just when we were surrounded by jellyfish and Megalodons level 280. He died and my Megalodon was also close to die, but I was able to recover his stuff and go to the coast where we left our Argentavis.

After this we decided to go sift a Quetzal as we wanted to build a house on top of it and also explore quite a bit. I wasn't able to take many pictures of when we were sifting it because it was impossible at the time, but I found some pretty strange things in places I hadn't explored.

Taming the Quetzal was an accomplishment, but it's funny because we haven't had any use for it so far. We have been focusing on other things that we just have it as an ornament, but I am absolutely sure that there will come a time when we will need to use it.

After this I only focused on taming a new Argentavis because sadly one of my favorite Argys (scout) was killed by a Yutyrannus and a Carno alpha :( That Argy had 151% speed and was just perfect for scouting and going long distances in an extremely short time.

In my search for a replacement I ended up finding Dios, a currently level 340 Argentavis that has a 2000% attack. I'm amazed how an Argentavis can reach so much damage, but I'm totally sure that there is not and will not be a dinosaur that has so much damage.

On the other hand, I ended up meeting an Argentavis that I totally fell in love with as soon as I saw it:

I saw it with the spyglass and I simply couldn't believe what I was seeing XD. Having an Argy of this level would mean having an animal even more powerful than God, so I tamed it and decided to give it a different twist to have an Argy with crushing damage and with another make it withstand the dinos' blows.

Lucifer currently has about 40-50k max life, so I'm totally confident that nothing could kill him before God finishes off whatever we have to kill. I'm amazed at the Argentavis' capabilities, I personally consider them to be some of the best dinos in the game.

These 2 gays haven't been on the server for days, and Perceval much less, but his body is dumped on a rock near the house XD.

Shortly after being here and there @thisryz decided it was finally time to improve the house since we had no space to store our materials and it didn't look like a decent house either.

So I attach a couple of screenshots of the progress of the house:

I have to admit that the house is looking amazing. All this time my involvement in the construction has been just collecting the materials to make it possible, but all the architectural mastery is being employed by @thisryz.

It's not finished yet, and I'm still not sure how many floors this house will have: All I know is that we already have plenty of space and a decent place to call home.

I hope that in my next post talking about The Island we will finally explore the caves since it has been a long time and we haven't done it because we haven't wanted to, basically.
