Just dropping this week's Guild's Gold for you all.
For those of you who don't know, Guild's Gold is an extract from our most recent podcast.
This week's, is from our wonderful conversation with @splinterlandstv star, DamienWolf.
We are constantly blown away by many of our guests and this was no different.
DamienWolf spoke about a movement that is happening in the Philippines that we feel had to be shared.
Fellow Splinterlanders, Mangomayhem and Leveluplifeph are the masterminds behind this project and are work diligently to make an enormous difference to people's lives in their own community.
How you may ask? Well, this is the truly interesting part, it basically involves introducing people to Splinterlands, so that they can grind out battles and in turn, work towards earning $1, which is the cost of 1kg of rice, an integral commodity for people in the Philippines. Another important point to make is that this is also an attainable goal.
There's definitely more to this story, and plans are already being made for a chat with both Mangomayhem and Leveluplifeph, so that we can delve deeper into this wonderful project of theirs.
It’s a truly inspirational story and one that not only shows the power of play to earn games, such as Splinterlands, but also our ability as humans to make a difference to people's lives.

A kilo of rice for life as a first goal. Everyone wanting to be rich but If we had a free kilo of rice per day it would be life changing.
Ok we cant make everyone rich driving a lambo but if we all work together we could easily get everyone to a kilo of rice per day.

Awesomesauce! Not going to diss other communities but it is rare to find a movement whose aim is actually to help their fellow man. As Leveluplife said, its not like we will get lambos but we can start small, eliminate "barriers of entry" using a game such as Splinterlands. I cant wait for your cast with @leveluplifeph and @mangomayhem . Thats going to be an epic discussion!
