Our guest this week is the creator & mastermind behind this game and its economy, a huge gamer at heart and the CPO of @splinterlands.
We proudly present to you all our conversation with @yabapmatt.
Matt kicks off the episode taking us through his beginnings in game development and shares with us what it was that initially attracted him to coding and game creation.
We take a dive into our guest's beliefs surrounding cryptocurrencies, and specifically BTC, and gain an understanding of the why his conviction remains unshaken all these years, bears, and bulls later.
This naturally leads us to the origins of Steemmonsters & @Splinterlands, where we are honored with the telling of Matt's tale of its humble genesis. It's amazing to think how far this little trading card game project has come and all its survived through. And we like to believe its only getting started. Here's to many more years of success and thriving in the land of Praetoria!

I'm an amateur at best on the technical side of all of this, so I'm sure I could have been more efficient in the set up - so am certainly curious what you're thinkin. Also, not sure where said sats are landing.

Love Yabapmatt, great conversation. Wish Matt would do a regular show with chat where we could talk about the game. Town Halls are nice but it's not one on one with Matt himself.
