COLOURFUL ACTIONS

One Friday afternoon, I got a call from a music artist based in my city. Our conversation went thus:

Prince: Hello The Optimizer, good evening. How are you doing?
Me: I'm doing well, good evening.
Prince: Okay. Please I want to know if you are available to photograph me tonight. I'll be ministering at an event later this night and I'll need some pictures from the event.
Me: Yes, I'll be available. We just have to agree on the terms and my rate.
Prince: Sure. Thank you.

Seeing this was an urgent booking, I could have turned it down but nevertheless, I decided to do it. We agreed on the terms and rates and the deal was booked.
I met with him and his team later that evening. We left for the event center around 7pm, arrived by 10pm and started the event by 11pm.

When it was time for me to photograph my client, I noticed something which could give me issues. When I entered the event hall, I noticed that it was poorly lit. I didn't think it would be the same for the stage but I later found out that I was wrong. The stage lighting was completely bad. I started thinking of a solution quickly.

My luck charm was the speedlite which I added while packing my gear. It really saved the day. Coupled with my professional skills, I was able to create amazing images that night.
