Rizal Shrine in Dapitan Zamboanga Del Norte: The Place Were Our Great Hero Dr . Jose Rizal Lived

Dipolog contains lots of beautiful sceneries and landscapes that everyone likes. Also, this place have a historical sites can be seen and found. For this travel blog I've created, I will take you to the beautiful historical place in Rizal Shrine located in Dapitan Zamboanga Del Norte. For the Past Many years, one of our Great Hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal lives here for a few days before He exile and sentenced to death by Firing squad. He lives here and enjoying His life planting more trees, studying of medicine and insects and also building those unique Nipa Huts. The place is very cool and relaxing because of the trees grows at the place. Aside of that, we will also take a tour inside of Dr. Jose Rizal's house including the Museum at the place.

Location:

Rizal Shrine is found in Dapitan Zamboanga Del Norte in part of Mindanao Philippines. From Barangay Poblacion Manticao, it takes to travel many hours by land and sea. The traveling time depends on how traffic and crowded the road is. Lots of establishments, commercial buildings, Cities and Barangays passing through before we reached the place. Rizal Shrine is located near at the coast, filled with old big trees and wild plants.

This is one of the parts of the place can be found in the site, this unique Nipa Hut is made of light materials just like round lumbers, bamboos, planks, and a unique rooftop made of coconut leaves. This is what the house looks like backed in many years during Jose Rizal's time. It built near at the coast, if we also went to the coastal area we can see some neighboring place in Ozamiz including those mountains. There are also concreted pathways so people can easily walked at the place and avoiding of being dusty or muddy. There is also a Flag pole with a Philippine flag on top of the pole it symbolizes that this place is very historical.

This place is where Jose Rizal's kitchen but the management prohibited us to look closer because it was still under renovation. The text means is Dr. Jose Rizal's kitchen and it also includes on the information about the exact measurements of the kitchen. Inside of the kitchen are the old kitchen tools just like pots, pails, kitchen sinks and clay ovens or Pugon using for cooking foods with charcoal. This structures is made of light materials just like Bamboos, and round lumbers, they also coated with shinny varnish but the renovation was slowly so that the natural image of the structure wont be damage.

These are the unique houses can be seen and found inside of the site,it is also made of light materials coated with varnish to make it shinny and glossy. It is built at the middle of this vast forest, and decorated with this beautiful landscape were many ornamental and wild plants placed. Each houses also have concrete pathways so that visitors can walk with no hassles and it can added on its beauty also.

According to the history, Dr. Jose Rizal loves to plant trees, and some of the trees He planted are also located here. This old big trees near at the Museum are the trees Jose Rizal's planted. This trees lives over 150 years already and it also included as an ancient tree from the past. Molave and Mahogany is what Dr. Rizal's like to plant but there are some other trees he planted here aside of Molave and Mahogany. He also planted Narra trees here symbolizes Strong and it also grows bigger and taller.

This a statue of Dr. Jose Rizal seating on his long chair with his friend. At the back of the statue is the old and big tree of Narra, he also planted this tree here.

Inside of Dr. Jose Rizal's House:

We will go inside of Jose Rizal's house, first is the Living Room. Filled with wood chairs and tables, the floors and walls is made of lumbers coated with varnish to make it shinny.

Next is the bedroom were a unique bes was made including those old and antique cabinets. Chair and table is also in the place were Rizal doing his novel and studying of the things he can find here.

At The Museum:

Inside of the Museum are the old and antique things Dr. Jose Rizal's used that time. He owned all of this things preserved at the Museum, some of it are spoons, Porks, plates, his Novels and writings and some frames and informations about his activities here at the place that time. He also studied about medicines and some of his writings are also placed in here.

Traveling in this kind of place is very fun and enjoyable, this is perfect for the children so that they can learn and imagine how people in the old times lived and a part of a great history. Thank you for visiting my post, have a nice day everyone.

Laki na ng pinagbago sa entrance at sa ibang bahagi ng site pero yung bahay at saka yung room ni Rizal ay ganun pa rin noong pumunta ako riyan 15 years ago🤩
