My Random Daily Post: " Gardening and Market Activities"

We are very lucky to have this farm place owned by my Husband's Parents, here we can plant different kinds of vegetables, crops and any other valuable plants. Gor today's blog I created is also a random and this was Market and Gardening Activities. The first activities that I am going to share was this garden activities we did yesterday. We already abandoned our Garden for couple of Months because of the intense heat happens here in our Place, but finally the rainy season came and it is good to start planting again. With the help of my husband, we started to cultivate our Simple Garden at exactly 7 in the Morning. The cultivation process was very easy because we used cultivating tools just like Pick and Shovel. Cultivating and making a plot is not a woman's job and with the help of my Husband, he performed the tasks by making Garden plot.

It takes a few minutes of making garden plots, the soil is very soft and sandy that is why it will be very easy to plowed it using shovel and pick. I also decided to plant this Alugbati cuttings in the areas, this kind of vegetables is good in the sandy soil areas and it can also sell at the Market. First, I removed those leaves and we cooked it for our dinner and I cut it into equal measures before planting on the Garden plot.

While cutting the tubers, my Husband was alo very busy to preparing the plots were this Tubers planted. It takes a few minutes before we created the Garden plot, and next I started to plant this tubers at the cultivated soil. I also removed those wild grass and weeds to make the plot very clean. The next plan we will do is to plant Camote Plants , eggplants and Okra vegetables.

After planting the tubers, He slowly watered the newly planted tubers using a water sprinkler. This is perfect so that the soil wont be washed out due to right amount of water that the sprinkler pours or produced. Taking care of Alugbati vegetables is very easy, just keep the soil pulverized and watered it every 3 times a week. Removing wild grass and weeds is also important so that the vegetables will grow very healthy.

The next I did is to replanted those lemon grass, I slowly removed those lemon grass and I cut the dried leaves and young leaves. This is the first step We always do everytime when we replanted lemon-grass. Cutting those leaves before planting it is good and also cleaning dried lemon-grass skins is a must. It will be very easy to cut those dried leaves using a scissors. Lemon-Grass is easy to multiplied because it grows and become stable instantly. My husband creates a hole and a right depth and removed those wild grass from the soil. I carefully planted those lemon-grass cuttings and watered it after planted.

He also cultivated the soil surrounds at the lemon-grass so that it can grow very fast. It takes an hour of doing the job and luckily He finished removing and cultivating the soil near at the Lemon-Grass.

The next vegetables we replanted was the Saloyut vegetables. This is perfect for adding in the fish, vegetable soup. We decided to replanted more in the garden plot, I was very surprised because there are lots of Saluyot vegetables grows in the place. We did not plant any of this kind of vegetables once, but I am happy to have this grow in our simple Garden. My Husband carefully removed those plants and I also replanted it in the plant. After replanting, He carefully watered those plants and removing the wild grass in the place.

Market Day:

After a few hours of Gardening, we decided to went at the supermarket to buy some additional vegetables that can be planted. We want to cook vegetables dish also, it takes a few minutes of waiting any passenger vehicles before we finally ride and arrived at the Market. It was a successful activities we did yesterday, we spent a few minutes at the market and went back home after buying the things we need.
